General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may get jealous over Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) hot reunion. Carly will inevitably struggle to let go despite her commitment to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so let’s talk about the tricky road ahead.
It’s obvious there’s still a spark between Jason and Britt, which was on full display at the boxing gym recently. Jason took responsibility for hurting Britt when he chose Carly, but Britt wasn’t eager to pour salt in the wound.
If things were truly over between Britt and Jason, she wouldn’t have been so kind about not wanting to see him in pain. It’s just a matter of rebuilding Jason and Britt the right way – and that boxing gym conversation was a nice start.
Jason needs to come to grips with the end of his short, nonlegal marriage as well as his romantic feelings for Carly.
It’s good that GH isn’t having Jason rush back into Britt’s arms because he’s not ready for that – and Britt doesn’t deserve half Jason’s heart.
However, history has proven that Jason can move on from past loves pretty quickly.
Part of Jason will always love Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but he still fell for Britt soon after that “JaSam” split. Likewise, Jason was quick to trade Britt for Carly when the need for a mob marriage arose.
Jason’s romantic feelings for Carly became real, but they’ll fade and allow him to open his heart to someone else again.
Britt seems like the best option since the show’s still playing up their lingering connection.
If Jason can go from Sam to Britt and then from Britt to Carly, he can go back to Britt with ease. Jason’s fickle heart isn’t the one to worry about here.
It’s Carly who’s always been controlling when it comes to the women in Jason’s life – and that’s only going to get worse now that she’s had a little taste of having him as her man.
Jason and Britt’s reunion is probably going to happen, so it’s wise to prepare for Carly’s jealousy.
Although Carly is glad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is back and wants her marriage to work, that doesn’t mean she’ll like seeing Jason with anyone except her!
The truth is Carly is in love with two men and will likely have a harder time getting over “Jarly” than Jason will.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason and Carly will have to carve out some separate paths for themselves, but that won’t be easy.
