The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of September 27-October 1 teases that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will enrage Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) – plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get caught. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also make a power play, so let’s talk about the upcoming action.
Phyllis warned Nick there could be consequences if he went poking around Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past, but Nick couldn’t just walk away. He’s determined to find out who Ashland really was before he became the infamous Ashland Locke.
That trip to Toms River will be a productive one since Nick will discover Ashland’s real name and confirm the circumstances of his fake death.
Nevertheless, Nick truly won’t want to hurt Victoria or blow up this relationship if he doesn’t have to. He’ll decide Ashland deserves a chance to explain, so he’ll summon Victoria’s fiancé to the coffeehouse.
Y&R spoilers say Ashland will let Victoria come with him, which will catch Nick off guard.
Nick will wonder if Ashland’s sure he wants Victoria around for this, but Ashland will push Nick to just spill it. He won’t think whatever Nick’s found could possibly be that bad.
However, Nick will expose a truth that Ashland thought he’d buried forever. After Nick wonders if the name Bobby DeFranco means anything to Ashland, he’ll push Victor to confirm what he already knows.
Ashland will shock Victoria when he admits he used to be Bobby before he reinvented himself. Bobby used a car accident as a cover and ultimately stole Ashland’s identity.
Victoria won’t be thrilled over Ashland keeping another major secret, but she’s been clear about not really caring about Ashland’s past.
Ashland didn’t want to reveal his birth name, so Victoria won’t like how Nick forced it out of him. There’ll be some major clashing between the siblings as Victoria puts Nick on full blast.
Nick’s week will get even worse when he catches Phyllis and Jack looking too close for comfort! Jack and Phyllis have chemistry that’ll be staring Nick in the face. Their bond will once again prove concerning and may lead Nick to question Phyllis about that connection once more, too.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will deepen his own relationship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) as she leaves her suite behind and settles in the penthouse.
We’ll also see Devon babysit Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor so that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) can get some much-needed rest, but Devon will continue to struggle over his bio dad feelings.
Next, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will push Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to trust her instincts and tell Mariah how she actually feels about having a baby together.
Tessa will admit she’s not prepared to take that step just yet, but Mariah will struggle to give it a rest.
Since Mariah can’t shake this desire to replace Dominic in her heart, she’ll bicker with Tessa about how soon they should start their family.
Tessa will try to convince Mariah that they’re just putting it off for a while, but Mariah’s hurting and will want a baby ASAP.
As for Victor, he’ll destroy Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) shot at using Jesse Gaines (Jamison James) as a source. By offering up a sizable sum and threatening Gaines into leaving town, Victor will ruin Billy’s chance at an exclusive story.
Victor will also eliminate a huge issue for Ashland, but it’s obvious by now that Ashland’s list of problems is a mile long!
Ashland, Victoria, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have another double date ahead of the nuptials in Tuscany.
That’ll lead to Nate offering Ashland some guidance that he can take or leave. Nate won’t want to overstep, but he’ll take his best man duties seriously and provide some solid advice.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland and Victoria will have a lot to work out in the episodes leading up to their most likely doomed wedding day.
