General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will suspect the kidnapping story isn’t legit, so that’ll put Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in a position to save Maxie. Sam will step up to convince Dante to back off, so she’ll stop this doubtful detective’s grilling – at least for now.
GH fans know Maxie claims “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) went rogue and stole Baby Louise after she was born. Maxie’s trying to act like Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) crazy hired nurse went off the rails and took off with her little girl, but Dante won’t be so sure.
There’ll be some things that just don’t add up when Dante questions Maxie.
Of course, Maxie will stick to the story for her daughter’s sake. She doesn’t know what really happened in the stairwell and will feel the need to ensure Louise’s safety from Peter – just in case he comes back and causes more trouble.
That’s why Maxie will keep up the ruse for a while, but she’s bound to get flustered as Dante puts her through an interrogation. Maxie may act offended that she’s being treated like a criminal instead of a mom whose daughter has been stolen.
Maxie might push Dante to focus on figuring out who “Chloe” really is instead of wasting his time grilling her.
However, Dante knows Maxie well enough to realize when she’s hiding something. He’ll sense that Maxie isn’t giving him the whole story for some reason and will keep pushing in hopes of getting the truth.
Sam will sense that Maxie’s on edge and feeling the heat, so she’ll encourage Dante to stand down. Once Dante indeed backs off, it’ll be Sam’s turn to grill Maxie.
Sam won’t fully buy Maxie’s kidnapping claims either, so she may swear she’ll keep any secrets Maxie wants to tell her. It might be a good idea to fill Sam in so she can continue to help deal with Dante, but we’ll see what Maxie decides!
