General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, June 18, tease that Austin (Roger Howarth) will attack Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) confronts lying Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also fear a new mob war, so let’s discuss what’s coming up on Friday’s shocking show.
Over the phone, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will deliver a warning to Maxie. Maxie will want to see her baby, but Brook Lynn will insist it’s not happening. She’ll push Maxie to stay away or else everything they’ve done will have been for nothing.
Brook Lynn just won’t think it’s a good idea to take that kind of risk when they could get caught.
Maxie will agree to steer clear of “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), but she won’t end up sticking to that promise for long.
In the meantime, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will track down Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to discuss a new lead on Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
While Valentin and Anna talk about Peter’s possible whereabouts, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will remain nervous about the body stashed in the sub-basement lab.
However, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will be filled with hope when the DNA results come back and confirm his suspicions. He’ll tell Liz that he knows why his cure didn’t work, so she’ll hear about the paternity confusion.
Finn will keep working to make this new formula happen as soon as possible – this time using Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) DNA sample along with Jackie Templeton’s (Kim Delaney).
As for Chase, he’ll don a nice suit for a bittersweet wedding day. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) will share a sweet moment with her uncle as she gushes over the marriage and how lucky Chase is.
Chase will no doubt admit he’s indeed lucky to be marrying the love of his life. He adores Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and can’t wait to make her his wife, even if it’s under such unfortunate circumstances.
Jackie and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will help the bride-to-be get ready for the small ceremony, but this will all seem surreal to Willow.
Even so, Willow will tell both herself and Sasha that she’s doing the right thing. She’ll feel like the most important thing is making sure Chase’s final wish comes true, but she won’t know Finn’s on the verge of a real cure.
Across town, Sam will stop by Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment to push for answers. Maxie was caught in a lie thanks to the security footage tape from the country house in Pautauk.
Sam will call Maxie out on that lie in Friday’s GH episode and try to figure out why she’d fib about something that could help find her baby.
Of course, Maxie may argue that she’d been through an exhausting birth and wasn’t really up for the interrogation she faced. She might claim she simply had a fuzzy memory due to her emotional state over missing Louise.
Maxie will do her best to cover and hope that Sam believes her, but Sam may still feel like there’s something Maxie’s leaving out.
As for Austin, he’ll tell Dante there’s an area that hasn’t been searched in the woods. The pair will go out on the hunt for “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown), Louise and any clues that might help.
At some point, Austin will end up attacking Dante from behind. It’ll catch Dante off guard, but maybe there’ll be a reasonable explanation like sudden danger that Dante needs to dodge or Austin mistaking him for someone else.
Regardless, Austin seemingly won’t land in any trouble with the law since he’ll remain a free man in the coming weeks.
Back in Port Charles, Carly will meet with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and Jason. Brick will point out that Carly just ended a war with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but he may have concerns about a new one starting up based on missing shipments and other brewing issues.
Could this have something to do with the Novak mob family since we know Vincent “Vince” Novak is set to appear eventually? Whatever the case, Brick will have a warning to pass along based on his latest intel and discoveries.
