General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 1, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) love story will infuriate Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) gets rescued by his son’s admission. Nosy Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also push for answers, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
First, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will have a crucial legal meeting with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), who’ll hear the issues of his case.
The next step in trying to score Austin’s seat at the ELQ table could get tricky, so Scott will want him to be prepared for anything.
Over with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), he’ll get grilled about the tension in his relationship with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Brook Lynn will be her usual inquisitive self, so Ned may confess Olivia’s been dragging her feet on getting Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) a specialist.
Brook Lynn will likely get updates on Austin’s attempt to help and see him in a new light. She’ll wind up apologizing to Austin in the week ahead, so Ned’s admission on Friday could be the reason why.
Outside Wyndemere, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will face a shocker when Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) shows him something on her phone.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) caught Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) talking to Sonny, so she snapped a pic and sent it to Trina as well as Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
When Spencer realizes Esme’s been feeding Sonny lies, he’ll know he has to fix this somehow. Sonny and Nikolas’ fight will escalate quickly since Sonny won’t let Nikolas kick him out.
Spencer will land in the middle of the conflict as he tries to convince Sonny this is a big misunderstanding.
After Ava Jerome (Maura West) finishes her ominous vow to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), she’ll bump into another familiar face.
It seems Ava will warn Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) to keep a close eye on Ryan since things are never as they seem.
Ryan is indeed faking his locked-in syndrome – and GH fans can expect Harmony to grow increasingly suspicious of Ryan’s agenda as time goes on.
Ava will eventually end up at Wyndemere and will have a front-row seat for the confession that’s looming.
Spencer will soon come clean about stalking Ava as part of his plan to cut her out of Nikolas’ life. Naturally, Spencer will keep Esme’s role in the mayhem under wraps – at least for now.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly will fight for the rest of the story. She’ll hope to pry whatever else Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) knows out of him, so Jax may admit “Mike” aka Sonny and Nina had a weird romance going on.
You can bet Carly will be more furious than ever over that revelation!
Josslyn will find Carly and Jax in another shouting match, but she’ll try to convince them to move forward.
Once Carly has all the info she needs, Josslyn may think her mom should put her anger back on Nina and see that Jax was trying to help – even if he went about it in the wrong way.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will let Nina know she’s sorry for blabbing to Carly, but Nina won’t hold it against her.
The truth about Nina’s secret had to come out one way or another, so she might even be glad she didn’t have to break the news herself.
Of course, Maxie will wonder why Sonny didn’t squeal on Nina himself. Sonny put off telling Carly about Nina’s knowledge of his survival – and he obviously didn’t mention them falling in love either.
Those bombshells will have to be addressed once Sonny and Carly finally meet back up, so there’s bound to be some tension.
