UPDATE: Hayley Erin announced on Twitter she’s pregnant with twin baby girls.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap alum is celebrating some exciting news. GH fans know Hayley Erin from her stint as Kiki Jerome in Port Charles. Kiki suffered a grim fate at the hands of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), but Erin’s portrayal hasn’t been forgotten.
Many viewers still miss Erin in the role of Kiki, but she’s getting ready to take on the new role of Mom!
Last year, Erin posted a low-key announcement about her marriage to Adam Fergus. The happy couple took a similar approach with an announcement about their impending bundle of joy.
On Instagram, Fergus posted a cute pic where Erin was covering his mouth. “Hey guess wh………” Fergus said – and he added a zipped lip emoji.
Erin addressed her pregnancy in her own Instagram post soon after. She put up a photo with Fergus with the words “MOM + DAD” above their heads, so she was confirming that they’re indeed going to be parents to her new little one.
Of course, it didn’t take long for supportive comments to start rolling in. General Hospital fans as well as some of Erin’s former GH costars were quick to chime in over happy updates.
This baby news offers a fun reason to celebrate, so everyone’s ecstatic for Erin and Fergus as they prepare for this exciting new chapter.
Just in case you were worried it might be an April Fools’ Day prank, Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland on The Young and the Restless) liked a Twitter post with congratulatory words about the couple’s first child together.
Since Grimes is close friends with Erin in real life, she knows what’s up! This certainly seems to be a legit announcement about Erin’s bun in the oven.
As for whether Erin might return to GH someday, you never know. However, it looks like Erin is content off the show for now. Plenty of us will always miss Kiki, but Erin’s living her best life and getting ready to bring new life into the world, too.
