General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will continue to battle regrets over how things went down with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Jax wishes he could undo the damage and score another shot with her, but Nina’s taking time and space for herself right now.
However, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) thinks Jax still has a chance based on Nina’s reaction. Carly suggested Nina still had plenty of emotion under the surface – emotion that drove her decision to leave Port Charles.
The fact that Nina still feels something was a good sign in Carly’s opinion.
Of course, Carly and Nina have had a major argument over the phone since then, so Carly may not be so supportive of Jax and Nina’s reunion anymore. Even so, Carly’s initial suggestion to go after Nina may stick with Jax.
The longer Nina stays away, the more determined Jax might become to find her.
GH fans know Jax already used some connections and found out Nina hadn’t left the country. Jax is probably thinking that Nina couldn’t have gone all that far.
Although Nina will decide to leave the The Tan-O and this whole Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) situation behind, it doesn’t look like she’ll follow through on that decision.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina will end up sticking around and spending more time with “Mike” as well as Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). Naturally, we have to focus on Nina’s connection to Phyllis and put ourselves in Jax’s shoes.
Jax knows Phyllis has been a good friend to Nina – a supportive mentor type of figure who’s quite important to her. Since Nina’s been feeling lost and needs guidance, it’s not a stretch to think Jax might call Phyllis and ask if she’s seen his ex.
Jax might mull it over and determine that Phyllis is just the person Nina would want to lean on.
There may be a reason why GH writers have hinted about Jax chasing after Nina. Could Jax chase Nina right to The Tan-O and discover the Sonny secret she’s keeping?
It’s easy to imagine Jax walking in to find Nina laughing it up with “Mike” or even dancing with him since they’re about to grow closer.
Whatever the case, Jax might be stunned and furious find out Nina’s been hiding Sonny’s survival! Nina might push Jax to put her first this time and keep the secret – at least a little longer.
It’s hard to believe Jax would ever keep the fact that Sonny’s alive from Carly, but a desperate Nina might push for it anyway. Nina might even argue that Jax can have Carly all to himself if he keeps his mouth shut!
Regardless, we can’t deny the facts here. Jax is looking for Nina and knows Phyllis has previously served as a confidant. Nina is with Phyllis – and as a result, Sonny – so it’s reasonable to think Jax might find them both due to Nina’s Phyllis link.
