General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, June 17 Recap – Bloody Peter Haunts Liz – Liesl Cries to Jason

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 17, reveals that a bloody Peter August (Wes Ramsey) haunted Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) – and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) decided to seek Peter’s helicopter pilot. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) also cried to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so here’s how it all played out on Thursday’s gripping episode.

On the hospital rooftop, Liz saw a vision of a menacing Peter August (Wes Ramsey) with his head bleeding. After this Peter vision disappeared, Elizabeth found Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) by the service elevator door.

Liz insisted it didn’t work and that the area had been sealed off, but Anna was determined to find another way to access the sub-basement lab.

Elizabeth got Anna thinking about the helicopters that had come in that day, so Anna did her research and found out an unauthorized one didn’t land. Anna was hopeful about tracking down the pilot and getting some answers.

Meanwhile, Gregory Chase (Gregory Chase) found Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) working in the lab and seemed upset that he wasn’t spending time with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who may not survive the night.

Finn admitted he might know why he was wrong about the cure and proposed the idea that Gregory was Chase’s father after all.

Gregory was skeptical since DNA tests don’t lie, but Finn argued that the human element was different from the science part of it.

Finn got a second set of paternity test results from someone he thought he trusted off site, but he worried Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had somehow gotten to her, too.

Finn suggested Cyrus had a grudge against Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and might’ve used this paternity situation to inflict pain. Gregory found out another DNA test would take some time – time that Chase really didn’t have.

However, giving Chase the cure without confirmation could kill him instantly if Finn was wrong.

Finn insisted he’d work on the cure in the meantime, so both Finn and Gregory knew Chase’s life was riding on the identity of his bio dad.

As for Liesl, she cornered Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at GH to warn her that treacherous Peter was still a threat and could come after her.

Liesl fished to find out if Jason was still in the picture to protect Britt. She ranted about things not going well with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), but Britt didn’t think that had anything to do with Jason.

In the end, Obrecht left Britt confused by alluding to more action being needed regarding Peter.

In the Corinthos family kitchen, Jason wasn’t interested in talking to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about his relationship with Britt – though he did admit there was a connection. Jason also got a call about a shipment disappearing along with the driver somewhere in New Jersey.

Later, Obrecht found Jason at Pozzulo’s and expressed her gratitude since he reached out to her so she could visit Britt in Canada.

Liesl admitted she had to stay strong for Britt, but she broke down in tears in front of Jason. She was worried about Britt’s Huntington’s disease marker and her daughter’s future.

Liesl brought up the Peter situation and felt she could trust Jason to kill him if he was found – though she knew Jason would make it quick and not the long, torturous death Peter deserved.

Back at GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) got the all clear on her ankle and was free to start volleyball practice at PCU.

Josslyn got a PT referral and had a talk with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), who felt Joss had to work things out with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

Trina didn’t want the situation to be so weird anymore, especially since they were all going to college together.

Josslyn and Trina wound up in the Corinthos kitchen, where they tried on their graduation gowns and made a pact. Trina and Josslyn agreed to use this opportunity as a clean slate and looked forward to what was ahead.

As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she talked Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) out of turning in her resignation while Carly bumped into Britt at the hospital.

Carly acknowledged the bond Britt and Jason had formed while on the run, but she didn’t seem all that confident in it working in the here and now.

Britt, on the other hand, felt like Jason had stuck with her despite her tendency to push people away. She didn’t know what to expect when she returned to Port Charles, but she seemed hopeful about whatever was next.

We’ll deliver updates as other GH news becomes available. General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Jason may face more hurdles down the road, but let’s hope they can conquer them as this love story develops.

CDL will have other terrific General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so pop back in soon.
