General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, May 20 – Sam & Dante’s Jason War Gets Nasty – Sasha & Cyrus Showdown – Shawn Surprises TJ

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, May 20, tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) war over Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will get nasty. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also have a showdown with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) while Shawn Butler delivers a surprise to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).

For starters on Thursday’s episode, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have a meeting with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as well as Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).

Cyrus has decided he’s done trying to form family bonds, so that means he intends to deal with Nikolas just as he’d deal with a stranger.

If Nikolas moves forward with his plan to turn Pentonville into a private prison, then Cyrus will have to stop him – and it’s clear that he means he’ll kill Nikolas if need be.

Laura will bring Nikolas up to speed on her conversation with Cyrus and the troubling threat he made. She’ll wonder if protecting Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is the only reason Nikolas wants to buy this prison.

The look on Nikolas’ face will suggest he has another motive, so it seems he’ll spill it on Thursday. General Hospital spoilers say Laura will support Nikolas’ intentions, so whatever explanation he offers will apparently be good enough.

Laura may hope Nikolas’ plan will help them gain the upper hand once and for all.

Next, TJ will visit Shawn behind bars and get some unexpected news. Shawn will admit that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) convinced him he didn’t have to pay for a crime he didn’t commit.

While Shawn explains how he intends to fight for his release, Alexis will have a conversation with Maggie (Sydney Walsh). “If anyone’s been selfish, it’s me,” Alexis says on Thursday’s GH preview video.

Alexis may argue that assisting Maggie ahead of her parole hearing made the prison transition easier. Since Maggie’s set to be released soon, Alexis will be grateful for the help with finding her purpose.

Now Alexis can focus on supporting Shawn and anyone else who needs her legal expertise at Pentonville.

As for Sam and Dante, they’ll have another fierce faceoff over Jason. Dante will no doubt call Sam out for slashing his tires, but she probably won’t admit to anything.

Even so, Dante will feel like Sam’s being unfair since he’s just doing his job. He’ll argue that he was ordered to find Jason and that’s what he intends to do.

While Sam fights with Dante, Sasha will have a faceoff of her own with Cyrus. “I’m saving the best for last!” Sasha snaps in Thursday’s preview clip.

Sasha won’t tell Cyrus that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is her “baby daddy” during this heated confrontation. She’ll protect Brando instead and hope they can figure out a solution that’ll keep him safe along with her unborn child.

Unfortunately, Sasha and Brando’s plot to outmaneuver Cyrus will backfire in the coming episodes!

At the Corinthos compound, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will put more pressure on Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Gladys rejected Carly’s generous offer, so Carly decided they’d have to do things the unpleasant way instead.

Now that Carly has revealed Sasha is pregnant by Brando, she’s insisting that she’s the only one who can save Gladys and her son.

Carly will stick to that stance, but will Gladys trust her enough to make any sort of deal? Gladys is awfully stubborn and may want to handle things herself, so we’ll see if Carly can get through to her. We’ll offer updates as other info comes in.

General Hospital spoilers say the bombs will keep dropping in Port Charles, so don’t miss what’s in store. CDL’s the place to be for other great GH spoilers, updates and news, so make us your number one source.
