General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 14, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will make a troubling discovery while Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) have a fierce faceoff. There’ll also be a bombshell for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), so let’s discuss all the drama.
At GH, Maxie will find herself on edge over a surprise appearance. It looks like Maxie may make a phone call regarding her plot with Brook Lynn – only to look up and find someone’s been listening.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is the most likely contender here since we know he’ll show up to discuss baby-related matters on Friday. Luckily, this should just be a close call.
Peter won’t get any real hints about Maxie’s plan for a phony stillbirth, but that plan will still be in jeopardy thanks to some updates from Maxie’s doctor.
It’s possible Maxie will learn she’s going to need a C-section or that there’s some other complication. Whatever the case, Maxie and Peter will talk about Baby Lou’s birth as they try to reach a decision soon.
Across town, Brook Lynn will face off with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). After more conflict, Brook Lynn will worry their deal for ELQ shares has fallen through.
Valentin will insist that deal is still on, but he’ll want to amend it with a growing list of demands. It looks like Valentin will want to move in a wing of the Quartermaine mansion since it’d allow him to be close for the baby’s sake.
Valentin doesn’t realize this whole pregnancy is a scam, so he’ll be quite concerned about being a doting daddy. Brook Lynn will be shocked and appalled over Valentin’s latest suggestion, but it seems she’ll have no choice but to accept it if she wants those shares!
Ned Quartemaine (Wally Kurth) will get into an argument with Valentin On Friday’s episode, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will step up and try to promote peace.
Look for Michael to steal a moment with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) as well, so that’ll bring the temptation for more lip locks as they feel the heat between them.
In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may wind up pulling back to avoid that kiss with Elijah Crowe (Dan White). She’ll at least cut it short since she clearly isn’t interested in Elijah, especially since she knows he was tangled up in the robbery drama.
Nina will pump the brakes with Elijah and point out that they can just have a nice leisurely evening together. She’ll want to give “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) plenty of time to get the break-in job done over at Elijah’s office.
What Nina doesn’t realize is that the alarm is blaring thanks to Sonny’s blunder. General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will make a mistake due to his inexperience – or at least “Mike’s” inexperience due to his memory loss.
That could tie in with the alarm itself, but we can’t rule out the idea that Sonny might make another mistake – like dropping something that could connect him to the crime.
Regardless, Sonny will get the heck out of there and run back to The Tan-O, where he’ll try to act casual. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will approach “Mike” and insist she knows what he’s been up to, but it’s doubtful Phyllis will know about the break-in.
It seems more likely Phyllis will want to talk about Sonny and Elijah’s mutual interest in Nina.
Back in Port Charles, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will pledge her support to someone. That might be Ava’s own husband since Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will continue to scheme against Cyrus.
Speaking of Cyrus, he’ll bump into Sasha and rile her up moments later. Cyrus will act like he wants to let bygones be bygones, but Sasha will hold a grudge since she nearly died thanks to this baddie. Fans know Sasha’s got a secret unborn child to protect, so she’ll make it clear that Cyrus needs to back off.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will still be seething following her fight with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), so she’ll want to make some adjustments to her will. If Jax thinks Carly’s leaving anything to him, it sounds like he’d better think again!
It looks like Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will be summoned to help Carly with these will revisions, so Carly may voice her frustrations to Diane as a friend, too. As other news becomes available, we’ll bring you more details.
