General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Erik Olson – one of the twins who plays Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos – had to undergo surgery, but he shared a heartfelt reunion with his brother, Theo Olson, after the procedure. Erik is now resting comfortably following a warm welcome home.
On Instagram, the Olson twins’ mother put up some pics along with some news in her Instagram stories. She wanted to give fans updates on her brave boy and everything that’s been happening in their family.
“Our sweet Erik had a big surgery this week! We finally got to bring him home earlier this evening, but he still has a long recovery ahead of him,” the post said.
It turns out this hospital wasn’t too far from where General Hospital is filmed, so Erik was close to his home-away-from-home when it came time for his procedure.
“One cool thing about his hospital room is that it had an epic view of Prospect Studios (swipe right)! As a friend of ours said ‘from one hospital to the next!’” the Olson twins’ mom explained.
Erik was in good spirits ahead of the surgery and was a real trouper throughout the whole process. He was walking again just a day after the procedure and talked about getting “magic medicine” on an Instagram story clip.
There was also an adorable video of the twin brothers reuniting with a very gentle hug and a Cars-themed toy that served as Erik’s welcome home gift. It doesn’t get much cuter than these little sweethearts, so we can all thank their mother for keeping us posted.
It’s great to see Erik doing so well and we certainly wish him the best as he continues his recovery. The Olson twins do a fantastic job as Wiley on GH, so fans will look forward to whenever Erik can get back to filming along with Theo!
As for what’s ahead in Port Charles, General Hospital spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will try to be patient.
Their ultimate goal is to be a real couple and form a reunited family unit Wiley, but it’ll take some time since all this poison drama’s going on with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
It sounds like some exciting stuff’s still to come in PC, so stay tuned to the ABC soap. CDL will have other fantastic GH spoilers, updates and news to check out, so stop by again soon.
