General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 24, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be rocked over a run-in with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also deal with a hallucination while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) admits her desire for vigilante justice.
At the Quartermaine mansion on Tuesday’s show, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will prepare to make a difficult confession with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) by her side.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will know what’s coming since he’s aware of Michael and Willow’s recent gatehouse hookup.
Chase can tell Michael and Willow have been hiding their true feelings, but it seems there’ll be a delay or two before they can all get everything out in the open.
However, GH spoilers say Willow will move forward with her plans by midweek, so it looks like she’ll have a chance to exchange confessions with Chase soon enough.
In the meantime, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will lash out at Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and make it clear that the Quartermaines intend to fight him in probate court.
As far as Brook Lynn’s concerned, Austin doesn’t deserve ELQ shares or anything else for that matter. Brook Lynn will plan to do everything she can to keep Austin from scoring any money or power.
Speaking of power, there could be a struggle over it at GH thanks to the co-chiefs of staff situation.
It seemed like Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) were making progress, but Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is about to make a bit of a mess.
Britt will talk about how something isn’t going to work, so there’ll be some plan she’s not really on board with. No matter what that plan is, we’ll see Liz revive the conflict between Terry and her new partner on the job.
Terry won’t be pleased about the setback with Britt and may blame Liz for her inadvertent troublemaking.
Although Liz will get chastised, it looks like she’ll mostly be entertained over Terry acting all bossy and trying to scold her good friend.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will talk about the very public nuptials they need to have.
It’s important for the ceremony to be legit and pretty splashy so that the other mob families are convinced.
Of course, September 17 isn’t too far away, so there’s a lot of planning to do in a short amount of time.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will excitedly gush over some opportunity and ask when she gets started, so that’ll probably be about filling the wedding planner role for Carly.
In Nixon Falls, Peter will practically do a double take when he sees Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) alive and well.
“Mike” will no doubt introduce himself and wonder why Peter seems like he’s seen a ghost, but Peter should avoid spilling too much once he wraps his head around the situation.
It’s obvious Sonny has memory loss and doesn’t remember his old life, so Peter will be able to play along and act like “Mike” is a stranger. Naturally, Peter will have to head in The Tan-O for a reunion with a startled Nina sooner or later.
Nina will break some glasses due to how rattled she is – and things are only going to get worse as Peter hurls threats later this week.
In the meantime, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will listen as Sam seethes over the pain Peter’s caused her family.
Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) doesn’t have her dad right now – and Peter is the reason why.
Sam will confess that she’d like to murder Peter with her bare hands, but Dante may argue it’s not a good idea to make admissions like that to a cop!
That said, Dante will understand and will intend to keep helping Sam search for answers about Drew’s survival and location.
Drew will remain stuck in that foreign prison, where he’ll apparently start dealing with some unsettling hallucinations.
Sam and Scout will appear to Drew, so that could make him even more motivated to get out of there and get back to people who care about him.
There’ll also be a moment where Drew seems uncertain of who’s visiting him. That could be before his vision comes into focus or perhaps there’ll be someone else who comes along in the flesh.
Drew might get reprimanded by a new guard or someone playing middleman to the big boss.
Regardless, Drew remains in grave danger and will definitely need Sam’s help as his situation gets worse.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew will make it home down the road, but he’ll have to put up with these rotten circumstances for now.
CDL will have other scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so drop by frequently.
