General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, November 17 Recap – Brando Saves Sasha & Reveals Baby Boy – Nina & Wiley Hug

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 17, teases that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) saved Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and revealed to fans that they were having a baby boy. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was also furious over Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Caleb and Kyler Ends) hug, so here’s how it all went down.

At Charlie’s Pub, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) assured Carly that she had time for the one-on-one chat Carly wanted. They had a nice conversation where they got to know each other, which naturally led to talk of Nixon Falls.

Phyllis caught herself calling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) by the name “Mike” at one point, but she suggested maybe they should avoid discussing Nina.

Carly admitted it was hard to let go of all her rage toward Nina, but Phyllis hoped Carly could for her own sake.

Even so, Carly struggled with knowing Sonny lived as this stranger somewhere else for nine months. Carly felt like she’d never know that person and blamed Nina for the gap.

Meanwhile, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) froze briefly as she approached the town square with Wiley. They saw Nina, who got emotional when an excited Wiley ran up to greet her.

Nina tried to make excuses and leave, but Willow suggested Nina should stay.

While Wiley was off visiting Tom Turkey with a woman from his playgroup, Willow admitted to Nina that she was on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) side and didn’t think it was wise for her to see Wiley – at least not right now.

That said, Willow knew they were bound to run into each other and wasn’t going to punish her son when he was so happy to see Nina.

Willow took some jabs about Wiley missing Grandpa Sonny while he was away, but Nina apologized and assured Willow that she never meant to hurt any of the other children involved.

When Wiley returned, Nina gave her grandson a hug – just in time for Carly to appear and scowl at the scene in front of her.

At the gallery, all hands were on deck as word of Leo Falconeri’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) disappearance spread. Based on some clues and Ned’s hunch, he went down by the harbor with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).

Ned and Olivia panicked when they saw Leo sprawled out on the pier, but he was fine and just transfixed by the water.

Leo wouldn’t say much and struggled to look Olivia in the eye despite her warnings about how he couldn’t take off like that.

Ned explained that he’d been reading up on autism and how many people with it were particularly drawn to water.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) admitted it was part of his training to look near bodies of water when autistic missing persons were involved.

While Dante and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) sat with Leo on a bench, Leo covered his ears over the sound of the police siren.

Olivia finally seemed to understand that she’d been in denial about Leo’s issues and was grateful to Ned for all his help. Olivia wanted Ned to come home with her and knew they had a lot to talk about.

Back at the gallery, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) reassured Sasha about getting them out of the backroom. Sasha’s water broke before she eventually had contractions, but Brando came to the rescue and unwedged the door.

Gladys thought back to Brook Lynn popping in briefly and fumed since she assumed BLQ had locked them in there.

Over the phone, Brook Lynn wanted to negotiate their new terms, but Gladys said it was too little, too late. She felt Brook Lynn had gone too far and now intended to tell Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) the truth.

Over with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she played dumb about the wedged door and pretended she was happy Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) night went well.

Esme was eager for some alone time with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so they kissed passionately while Trina glared at them.

At GH, Sonny was there for an appointment when he ran into Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). They talked about Alexis getting back out in the world before Sonny discussed his own clean slate and how it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

Sonny admitted he was happy in Nixon Falls, so Alexis hoped he didn’t miss it too much.

Nearby, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) worried she could become collateral damage in Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) feud with Brook Lynn. Austin grew curious, but he wound up comforting Maxie a bit when Sasha arrived in labor.

Maxie was reminded of Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), but she eventually had to face Austin’s suspicions about her “collateral damage” comment. Austin caught Maxie off guard by worrying Maxie and Brook Lynn were in some kind of trouble.

Back with Sasha, she got checked in a room and still had plenty of time before the baby arrived.

Gladys brought some celebrity gossip magazines and gabbed about them before Brando gently urged her to leave. Sasha was relieved for the privacy with Brando, but she acknowledged that Gladys had been helpful tonight.

Brando also admitted he checked the email where the nurse inadvertently revealed the baby’s gender. Branda couldn’t wait to meet their son and smiled with Sasha over the big news she already knew.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha still has a tough birth ahead of her, so stay tuned.
