Tonight’s episode begins with Stabler, he is out near an RV and has his gun raised. He opens the door, and goes inside, Kryetar is there and they go for a drive.
Stabler is back in the station, he tells Bell about what happened the evening before. The KO hit a warehouse full of guns, they used the Marcie Killers as their muscle. They left two dead bodies, he produces two fingers.
Stabler is in a café with Reggie having breakfast, but they leave before it is served. They head to a bagel business that went on fire, Kryetar doesn’t believe the owner when he tells him it was an accidental fire, so he shoots him.
Stabler goes to church, he goes inside the confession box and feels bad that the guy got shot. Bell is on the other side and she tells him that he is walking a very tight rope and it’s a dangerous place to be. She says when Gina died, he told her that sometimes they lose a few to save a lot. He says he doesn’t think he still believes that. She tells him that she can take him out if he wants, he says no, but he doesn’t want that fire to be declared an arson because the family won’t get anything.
Bell goes to speak to the deceased man’s wife, she says they have been paying off the Italians for years now and a couple of days ago the Albanians show up and say the money goes to them now, and 30% more. Her husband’s point person was Reggie, and she says he is crazy, they do whatever they want whenever they want. She says they are good people and didn’t deserve this.
Bell goes back to the team and says KO has three bodies in less than two days, crime scenes, and all the evidence destroyed, she is convinced they are building up to something.
Stabler’s mother finds herself in jail for slapping a child in the park unintentionally. Bell finds her in a cell and goes to get her, she identifies herself as Stabler’s partner. After a while, Stabler shows up and his mom is happy to see him. She asks where he went, he says he has been in Europe. She asks why he hasn’t visited, he says he visited with Cathy and the kids at Christmas time. She says she was going to attend the funeral, but then she had an episode. She tells him that she is so sorry that he lost his beautiful bride.
Stabler brings his mom to her place, the kids are there, her daughter says she had a caretaker and finds out that his mom fired her. Stabler wants her to go back to the hospital and get tested, she gets mad and says she is not going back, she would rather stay where she is a die. She says every time she thinks she has this thing licked, it comes back. Stabler’s daughter and son tell her to stay with them, Stabler tells her that he really wants her to do that.

Stabler and Reggie return to the café, a guy walks in and looks at Stabler then says he knows him. All of a sudden, bullets go off and people are shot and one woman got shot, it is Nova’s girlfriend. Bell and Jet go and find Nova, and tell her they know her girlfriend was shot, they want to help her find the people who did it. Nova tells Bell that she doesn’t need her help. Bell tells her that she needs her help, she needs to know who pulled that trigger.
Nova shows up at the station, apparently, she works for them. Bell is furious, she finds out that Nova has been in deep cover for a along time for Brewster. Bell tells Brewster they are supposed to trust each other, she can no longer work with someone that she can’t trust.
Kryetar tells Reggie they have been invited to speak to the Italians.
At the station, Tara sees the Albanians rolling with guns Stabler says he is going. The Albanians meet the Italians at a gas station. Costa tells Mario that he is out of options. All of a sudden, more Italians show up and they are heavily armored. Stabler walks in with a bazooka type of rocket launcher and he tells everyone to get in their cars and go home, or he will blow them all up, their choice.
Later, Stabler is out celebrating with the Albanians. All of a sudden, Stabler is feeling poorly, he gets up and walks out, his head is spinning, he is sweating. He goes back to the table and Costa tells him that he knows who he is, his people looked him up. He gives Stabler a phone and tells him he is going to use it to keep in touch. Stabler manages to leave but he is having a hard time walking, he makes it to Benson’s apartment and tells him they dosed him with drugs
