The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) ED may be cured – causing him to shut down the Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) arrangement. Of course, that could still leave Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) tempted to stray from her husband!
Eric offered Quinn and Carter a night together, but he clearly intends to give them more since he can’t satisfy his wife’s needs.
B&B fans know Eric believes he has no choice but to let go of passion in his marriage.
Although Eric thinks that part of his life is over, he’s repeatedly insisted that doesn’t have to be the case for Quinn.
However, Eric shouldn’t be so quick to give up hope! Perhaps Eric will finally find a specialist who can offer a new treatment and cure his erectile dysfunction.
There’s even a chance it’ll resolve itself on its own since Eric’s been hoping for a breakthrough already.
Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) might even play a role in lighting Eric’s fire again, but Eric is committed to his marriage and will surely want to please his wife if at all possible.
The problem is Eric has opened the door to Quinn and Carter’s connection once more.
If Eric suddenly tries to shut that down, it could be hard for Quinn to become a one-man woman again.
After all, there’s no guarantee Eric and Quinn’s lovemaking would be the same – even if a cure for Eric’s condition allows it to happen. So much has gone down between them and so much time has passed.
How can Quinn and Eric even be sure they can really satisfy each other anymore? What if things just aren’t the same in the bedroom after all this buildup?
Quinn might still be tempted to let Carter satisfy her needs on the side, but it’d be cheating without Eric’s blessing.
It’s hard to believe B&B will let Eric’s ED stick permanently, so a cure should be coming at some point.
Unfortunately, that may not serve as a quick fix to Eric and Quinn’s marriage. It could make things more complicated instead and perhaps even lead to a split for this couple.
