Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers confirm that Jen Jacob, who plays Ashley Morgan on the CBS soap has shared some exciting news: she’s expecting her first child!
The actress hopped on Instagram to share this major life milestone, much to her fans’ delight.
She uploaded a photo collage featuring a sonogram and pictures of herself with her husband, singer-songwriter Jess Ruben.
The IG caption read, “Mom & Dad have entered the chat. Baby girl coming March 2027.”
Of course, Jacob’s BTG family, as well as fans, hit the comment section to congratulate their co-star on this incredible news.
Arielle Prepetit (Naomi Hawthorne) wrote, “I’m going to be an auntieeeee!! Yassss! (with a heart emoji)”.
While Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree) commented with, “(several heart emojis) love, love, LOVE – there aren’t enough hearts in the world.”
Mike Manning (Bradley “Smitty” Smith) added, “Woooooooo. Absolutely cannot wait for this (blue heart emoji, prayers emoji).”
Meanwhile, Ambyr Michelle (Eva Thomas) wrote, “Hi bbygirl!! (with three heart-eye emojis).
Other Beyond the Gates costars to add their congratulations included Ashley Jones (Heather Armstrong), Jibre Hordges (Jacob Hawthorne), RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea Hamilton), and Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill Hamilton).
In addition, Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa McBride), Najah Jackson (Samantha Richardson-Smith), Ellie Wang (Caroline Lee), and Colby Natasha Nixon (Katherine “Kat” Richardson), also hit the comment section – among others.
Ruben and Jacob got married in 2018 and recently celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary recently.

Meanwhile, in terms of Beyond the Gates, it’s hard to say whether the show will incorporate Jen’s pregnancy into Ashley’s storyline.
The nurse does have an established romance with lab technician/bartender Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso).
While the couple doesn’t seem to be heading toward the marriage/baby chapter, anything is possible in the land of soaps.
Plus, couples don’t always plan to have a baby in daytime drama – it just happens – so there’s that, too!
The show airs about four months ahead of broadcast, plus, Creator and Head Writer, Michele Val Jean recently noted that the writers are crafting content for April 2027.
Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that if Ashley ended up pregnant, this could flip the nurse’s world upside down, so it’ll be interesting to see if the show hides Jacob’s pregnancy or writes it into the show.
