The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, October 22, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) told a tale of letters and conjugal visits with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), so Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was disgusted with her dad’s new love.
At Forrester Creations on Friday’s B&B episode, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) realized Eric Forrester (John McCook) had heard her love confession and was touched by it.
Donna was embarrassed, but Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) encouraged her sister to talk and for Eric to listen.
Brooke added that maybe Eric needed a positive, tender woman like Donna in his life. She suggested that maybe all Eric’s problems would go away! Once Eric was alone with Donna, he assured her that he was flattered.
Donna admitted she had tried to move on, but it was impossible when her true love was right across town.
They shared some laughs before Donna suggested there was no point in trying to hide her feelings anymore. Eric had no idea he was still so important to Donna after all these years.
Donna insisted she truly loved Eric and never stopped. They agreed their time together was meaningful before Donna went to grab a tissue from her purse.
Donna pulled out a honey bear bottle instead and confessed she keeps a stash on hand.
Donna revealed that whenever she misses Eric, she tastes a little on her finger.
After Donna demonstrated, Eric went in for a lick, too. Eric’s expression told Donna he was remembering how things used to be, but he said he was more than remembering!
The swelling music indicated that Eric’s ED was suddenly no longer an issue.
Meanwhile, Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) went on the hunt for scissors in Donna’s drawer and found a different honey bear bottle.
Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) saw it and wondered if Donna hadn’t moved on after all this time.
Brooke joined them and realized Pam had been snooping, but she felt there were more important things happening for Donna right now. She was hopeful about Eric and Donna’s reunion since no one would be disappointed if he moved on from Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Brooke just thought the question was whether Eric really loved Quinn or still had feelings for Donna.
At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hoped that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hope were off discussing how Sheila and Deacon had to keep their distance.
Steffy worried that Finn might be vulnerable since he’d only just met Sheila while Hope had known Deacon for years.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) argued that Finn wasn’t dumb and thought Hope was the perfect person for the doc to hang out with right now.
Liam suggested that Hope was capable of convincing Finn not to be around Sheila. Steffy still worried that one or both ex-cons could worm their way back into their lives.
If Sheila and Deacon hatched some crazy plan together while Hope and Finn were at their weakest, Steffy feared they would all pay the price.
At Ill Giardino, Sheila pushed Deacon to initiate the kiss this time around and wanted him to smile at the woman of his dreams.
Deacon felt Sheila was the woman of his nightmare instead, but he planted the kiss like she wanted.
Nearby, Finn suggested they should leave before they were spotted, but Hope wanted to know “what the hell” her dad was thinking.
Sheila said it was showtime before Hope and Finn approached looking for answers.
That led to a story about life-changing prison letters and how Sheila became a couple with Deacon. When Sheila brought up conjugal visits, a disgusted Hope and Finn were quick to shut down that part.
At Deacon’s urging, Sheila started at the beginning of the story and claimed Deacon wrote her a moving apology letter.
Hope asked what Deacon had to apologize for, so Sheila said it was because she got blamed for the shots he took at Quinn.
Sheila wrote back and eventually visited Deacon according to her bogus tale. She declared that they’d fallen in love, but Hope and Finn seemed suspicious as well as unsettled.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon and Sheila will have more work to do as they continue selling this romance.
