The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a familiar battle could heat up down the road. B&B fans know Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was once obsessed with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and was willing to do just about anything to make sure they were together.
Of course, Thomas has come a long way since then.
Although Thomas will always love Hope, he’s doing his best to control his desires and respect the proper boundaries. However, things are obviously shifting now that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has cheated on Hope with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Steffy is potentially pregnant with Liam’s baby – another child to bond “Steam” and add to Hope’s distress.
Hope isn’t sure she can forgive Liam’s betrayal under the circumstances, but she’ll have Thomas to lean on in the coming weeks. Thomas won’t want to treat this as a moment of opportunity or engage in any manipulation.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will do his best to just be a sympathetic ear and let Hope guide her own heart.
Hope will be impressed over the changes in Thomas and how he’s not scheming this time around. Thomas won’t pressure Hope to make any decisions she doesn’t want to make, so Hope will feel a real sense of friendship and love from Thomas.
Hope will feel like Thomas truly cares about her well-being and isn’t just trying to work some angle for “Thope” reunion.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Thomas’ attitude change will be genuine, but Liam certainly isn’t going to see it that way! From Liam’s perspective, Thomas will be pouncing on Hope the first chance he gets. Liam will inevitably struggle as Thomas and Hope strengthen their connection.
It seems likely that Liam’s misunderstanding will become a reality at some point. Thanks to Thomas making out with the Hope doll in the dark, Liam made a marriage-shattering blunder. He thought Hope betrayed him by kissing Thomas, so Liam wound up sleeping with Steffy that very night.
It feels like B&B writers are setting up a legitimate attempt to pair Thomas with Hope. With that in mind, there’s surely going to be a kiss waiting at the end of all this “Thope” bonding – maybe even more!
Regardless, The Bold and the Beautiful might deliver a situation where Liam’s forced to witness an actual make-out session between Thomas and Hope.
In other words, Liam’s wrong assumption may put Hope on track to kiss Thomas for real – and Liam might get a front-row seat if he walks in! That would certainly bring a good dose of karma for Liam, wouldn’t it? As other B&B news becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
