The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, November 29 Update – Abby Begs Distraught Chance to Come Home

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, November 29, teases that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will beg Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to come home, but guilt will haunt over his dead colleagues and leave him eager to finish his mission. Here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

At her house in Majorca, Kim Dunaway (Roxanne Hart) will assure Abby that Chance will be able to converse with her. She’ll just want Abby to understand that Chance has been through a lot and feels terrible about the deaths of the men who were backing him up.

Chance will eventually reveal himself, so that’ll bring an emotional reunion that includes a kiss and multiple hugs. Although Chance will be a little upset with Kim for confirming his location, Abby will argue that she was determined to find her husband no matter what.

Abby will promise she was careful and made sure she wasn’t detected on the way there. She’ll show off a photo of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor on her phone as she explains his name to a thrilled Chance.

Once Chance gushes over his new son, he’ll tell Abby the story of how he made it out of Valencia alive. Chance was just about to enter the door of the safe house when the building blew him back about 30 yards.

Although Chance injured his head and leg, he didn’t lose consciousness – though he’ll wish he had. The screams that came from within the building will be tough for Chance to even think about. Chance tried to save the men inside, but no one was left alive. He also had to hide in concrete and act like he was when the bombers showed up, but he ran before the fire department got there.

Chance eventually made his way to Kim and Errol Dunaway’s house by freighter, so the former medics stitched him up and let him hide there. The director of the mission was informed and agreed with Chance about keeping his survival a secret, so not even Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) knew the truth.

Chance will be apologetic over the pain Abby’s been through, but he’ll reject the idea of leaving Spain just yet. Abby will think they can get Chance out safely and anonymously, but Chance won’t want to bail on the mission he started.

Since Chance saw one of the guys that killed his friends, he’ll want to find him and follow his trail to the biggest baddie – the true target of this mission. Chance will refuse to let another agent take over and will worry Abby with his fixation on payback.

At Crimson Lights, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have a bit of a warning for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). After Nate sees how close Devon is getting to the baby, he’ll seem concerned about what’ll happen once Abby gets back. However, Devon will make it clear that he respects boundaries and will step aside when the time comes.

On the plane, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will speak to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over the phone after coming up empty in Valencia. Victor will have his minions compile a list of the people in Chance’s old unit – just in case Abby reached out to one of them.

That list won’t bring Victor any luck, but he’ll vow to find Abby one way or another. While Ashley and Jack wait for more updates, they’ll talk about Jack’s feelings for Phyllis. Ashley will try to keep an open mind, but she’ll end up trashing Phyllis a bit and acting like reunions with old flames are typically doomed.

Even so, Ashley will acknowledge that Jack seems to be falling hard for Phyllis again. She’ll just want to be a protective sister and make sure Jack knows what he’s getting himself into. Once Ashley and Jack take another call from Victor, Ashley will fret over the devastation Abby will feel when she finally accepts Chance’s death.

After Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) catches Phyllis on a call to Jack, she’ll push Phyllis to be honest about what’s in her heart. At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will confess to having a lot of feelings that “scare the hell” out of her. She’ll talk about how she had to keep her guard up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but that’s not the case with Jack.

Phyllis will feel confident Jack has strong feelings for her as well, so she’ll think it’s just a question of whether she’s ready for a reunion. Despite the not-so-great timing, Amanda will suggest Phyllis knows what she wants and is unwilling to admit it to herself. Amanda will be curious about Phyllis’ next move, but Phyllis won’t have a clue!
