The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 25 Update – Chance’s Building Search & Rescue – Amanda’s Sutton Revenge

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 25, teases that there’ll be a search and rescue mission for Chance Chancellor’s (last played by Donny Boaz) collapsed building – and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be ready to get revenge on Sutton Ames (Jack Landron).

At home, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will refuse to believe Chance is dead without proof. Once Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) show up, they’ll fear something’s wrong with the baby.

Tessa and Mariah will quickly learn this is a deadly Chance situation instead, but they’ll try to focus on positivity for Abby’s sake.

Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will let Abby and the others know a search and rescue mission is underway for the collapsed building, but she won’t have any news on Chance’s body. Abby will check her phone in hopes that Chance might’ve gotten in touch, but there’ll be no updates on there either.

Since Abby will be desperate for info on her husband, she’ll plead with Christine to contact Chance’s supervisor.

Christine won’t have high hopes for learning more just yet, but she’ll let Abby tag along as she dashes off to get whatever answers she can get.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will talk to Amanda and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) about the prep work for Sutton’s trial. Although Michael will feel ready to take Sutton down, he’ll feel like Amanda could be a key component in the case.

If Amanda is willing, Michael will hope she’ll get on the stand and testify against Sutton herself. Devon will question whether it’s ethical since Amanda used to be Sutton’s lawyer.

However, Michael will vow to only ask Amanda about what she learned after she was fired. He’ll wonder what could be more compelling than the testimony of Sutton’s own granddaughter and former attorney.

Amanda will jump at the chance to become part of Sutton’s takedown, but Devon will urge her to stop and think about this. He’ll point out the experience could be grueling and affect her new bond with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) as well as Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).

Devon will just want to be sure Amanda really thinks things through before she commits.

After Abby texts Devon and asks him to come over ASAP, he’ll realize it must be serious. Amanda will assure Devon that she’ll take everything he said into account and will push him to get in touch about Abby’s situation later.

Once Amanda’s alone with Michael, he’ll tackle Devon’s concerns head-on. Michael will get that it’s a big ask, but he’ll feel like Amanda is the ticket to winning and making Sutton pay.

Amanda will decide she’s in, but Michael will sense that she’s a bit choked up. That’ll lead to Amanda admitting that despite her desire for justice, she’d rather have just one day with her dad.

Devon will make his way over to the Chancellor mansion, where he won’t be all that surprised over Chance’s presumed death.

Devon will suggest he prepared for this on some level considering how serious Chance’s mission was – though he’ll keep a positive attitude once Abby rejoins the gang in the living room.

Abby will have tears streaming down her face as she embraces Devon and soaks up his comfort.

At Newman Media, Sally will talk about the amazing reviews she passed along to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) inbox. In response, Adam will offer to take Sally out for a celebratory meal – his treat.

Sally will accept, but she’ll pause and decide Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) had better come so they can make it a work thing. After Sally saunters out, Adam will seem a little miffed over how she acted.

At the coffeehouse, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will explain Jesse Gaines’ (Jamison Jones) vanishing act and why he believes Adam might’ve done Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) dirty work.

Rey won’t be able to open an investigation based on Billy’s hunch, so he’ll push him to gather real evidence and get back to him.

After Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) catches Billy and Rey looking all intense, she’ll grill Rey repeatedly to find out what’s going on. Rey will give Sharon a vague missing person explanation, but she won’t seem satisfied.

Once Sally lands at Society with Adam, they’ll sit at the bar. Sally will step away to call Chloe while Billy stirs up trouble with Adam.

Billy will bring up how Gaines didn’t publish his big scandal like he promised. He’ll suggest that’s quite a mystery and will think there’s always something nefarious going on with Adam.

Billy won’t buy this new-and-improved Adam act for a second. He’ll think it’s carefully calculated – mainly to fool Sharon.

Billy will hint about Adam trying to get Victor’s praise as well, so Adam will address his rival’s implication that he’s involved in Gaines’ disappearance.

Billy will act like Adam’s the one raising suspicions by bringing that up, but Adam won’t seem worried. He’ll suggest they’ll probably never know what happened to Gaines, but Billy will disagree.

Sally will return to the bar, so Billy will take that as his cue to leave.

After Sally questions Adam about his latest round of fighting with Billy, Adam will act like Billy is still an addict. He’ll think Billy simply found another way to feel the rush and gets it by going after him.

Adam won’t think Billy’s grudge will ever go away due to his forever grief over Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) death.

Once Adam makes it clear that he’s never going to respect or trust Billy, Sally will ask if he’s afraid of what Billy might do to him one day.

Adam won’t be concerned, but he’ll admit things are probably about to get worse – though he’ll sidestep Sally’s follow-up question about why.

Back with Sharon, she’ll stumble across Billy in the park. Sharon will catch Billy on the phone talking with his investigative team leader about Gaines and Adam’s role in his disappearance.

After Billy expresses his desire to find Gaines, he’ll hang up and see Sharon standing behind him.

Sharon will immediately launch a tirade since she heard enough to know Billy’s going after Adam for the umpteenth time. She’ll realize Billy was trying to get Rey involved and manipulate him through his old issues with Adam.

Sharon will angrily ask when Billy’s going to let go of his Adam hatred, but he’ll just stare at her.

Once Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gives Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a warm welcome home through a steamy session in their suite, things will take a tense turn again.

Nick won’t like feeling like an outsider in his own family – and Phyllis will agree they treat his loyalty like a weakness.

It’ll once again become apparent that Nick can trash his family, but Phyllis can’t do the same without riling him up.

That’ll lead to another argument, so Phyllis will be left feeling like she can’t do anything right – even when she bends over backwards to try and help.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some breakups may be looming in Genoa City soon, so stay tuned to see if Nick and Phyllis are on the verge of a split.
