The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 7, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will spill the risk of a scandal to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) protect Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also deliver a threat, so let’s talk about some great Y&R drama.
For starters, Victoria will try to process Ashland’s confession of changing Camilla Rhodes’ will with Jesse Gaines Sr.’s help. After getting updates on Wednesday, Victoria will need a chance to think on Thursday’s episode.
It looks like Victoria will hold off on giving Ashland her official decision on the wedding, but she’ll know what she has to do deep down.
Victoria will give Nikki the scoop and worry that she’s going to tank the merger hard if she doesn’t move forward with the wedding.
It’s not a good idea to turn this into a negative public spectacle, especially not when Jesse Gaines Jr. (Jamison Jones) could go public with the truth.
Victoria will feel like she should stick with the positive grand event and just marry Ashland as planned. Of course, Nikki will sense that Victoria isn’t really up for being a blushing bride anymore.
Victoria is obviously tired of hearing secret after secret from Ashland. How can Victoria really know for sure this is the last one?
Nikki will vow to help Victoria cancel all the wedding plans if that’s what she wants, but Victoria will shut her mom down.
This will build to Victoria making a firm decision on moving forward with the nuptials before the week’s over. Victoria will mainly have to worry about Billy and his relentless efforts to stop the ceremony.
In the meantime, Ashland will bring Victor up to speed on what he told Victoria. There’ll be more concerns about Gaines, but Victor will refuse to let anything stand in the way of his daughter’s big day.
By protecting Ashland, Victor will feel like he’s protecting Victoria and the merger, too.
Back in Genoa City, it looks like Billy will strike a firm deal with Gaines and look forward to hearing his scandalous story.
However, Adam will follow Victor’s orders and do his best to stop Billy in his tracks. He’ll warn Adam that Victoria made her choice and basically try to threaten Billy into backing off.
Billy won’t be intimidated and will feel like there’s still a chance to stop Victoria before she says “I do.” It sounds like Adam and Billy have another fierce faceoff brewing, so stay tuned.
