The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, December 1 Recap – Abby’s Wedding Ring Plea – Victor Reveals Billy Truth

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 1, teases that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will deliver a wedding ring plea to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) reveals why he hates Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

On the jet in Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will drop the “Chance is alive” bomb on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and add that Chance is torn about coming home. Although Chance wants to be with Abby and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor, he’ll still feel obligated when it comes to completing the mission.

Jack and Ashley will debate some solutions, but Ashley will think the best thing they can do is give Abby some time to win Chance over. Inside Kim Dunaway’s (Roxanne Hart) house, Abby will wonder if there’s anything Kim can do to help her convince Chance. Abby will talk about how much she needs her husband home with her as Chance eavesdrops.

After Chance joins Abby, she’ll push him to do right by her as well as Dominic. Abby will want Chance to think about the promises he made and will show him his own wedding ring, which she put on a necklace and kept close to her heart.

Chance will admit it was so hard for him to leave that ring behind at the explosion site, but he knew it would help sell the story. Abby will acknowledge that she’s been dreaming of the day she could give the ring back to Chance, but she’ll hesitate once he puts his hand out for it.

Abby will remind Chance that he promised to give her the life she deserved – to keep their family safe and happy. She’ll argue that this wedding ring was a symbol of Chance’s promise and will expect him to honor it. Abby will contend that she’s fighting for the survival of their family and will beg Chance to prove his love for her.

Chance will finally put the ring back on and embrace Abby as he decides it’s time to go home. He’ll clear it with his supervisor and get reassurance from Kim that he’s making the right decision. Kim will tease Chance about listening to his wife since she’s smarter than him, so he’ll insist he’s going to.

Afterward, Abby will call Ashley on the plane to tell her the good news. She’ll insist they just have a couple things to take care of before they leave for the airport. Abby will hope Ashley and Jack are willing to take care of a couple things as well.

At Society, Victor will run into Billy at the bar and push his buttons. Billy will let Victor know he’s done groveling and playing the sacrificial lamb. They’ll discuss Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) preemptive offer for ChancComm, which Victor will argue is Victoria coming to Billy’s rescue again.

Billy will ask why Victor hates him so much, but Victor will wonder why Billy even cares. However, Victor will offer an explanation after some thought. He’ll argue that Billy was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and handed everything. Victor will note that he resents entitled people like Billy who disrespect the values of others.

As for ChancComm, Victor will point out that the company belongs to “Mummy dearest,” not Billy. Victor will suggest Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is a savvy businesswoman who’ll do what’s best, but Billy will think that’s why he wouldn’t feel very confident if he were Victor right now.

At home, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be flattered over Jill’s offer to let her run Chancellor Industries. When Lily worries about what’s going to happen to ChancComm and Billy, Jill will insist Billy screwed up big time. She’ll feel like the company may be more trouble than it’s worth at this point and will blame Billy for the failure completely.

Lily will keep trying to defend Billy, but Jill won’t be willing to cut him any slack. Jill will have no problem with Billy taking a secondary position like COO, but she won’t be interested in naming him co-CEOs with Lily. Billy shouldn’t be in any situation where he can call the shots.

Jill will push Lily to see what a great opportunity this is and will remind her that relationships don’t always last forever. She’ll truly hope Billy and Lily are in this for the long haul, but she’ll want Lily to put her career first right now. Jill will assure Lily that it’s killing her to do this to Billy, but he left her no choice.

After Billy interrupts, Jill will suspect that he’s been drinking. Billy will admit it and point out that he took a cab home since he’s still capable of making some responsible decisions. After Jill assures Billy of her love and heads out, Lily will explain Jill’s offer and get Billy’s enthusiastic support.

Billy will feel like Lily has to take this, but he won’t be thrilled over the idea of being her second in command. He’ll feel like he’s losing everything including the job he loves, his dignity and his partnership with Lily, but Lily will quickly assure Billy that he’s not losing her – no matter what.

Even if Lily does decide to accept Jill’s offer, she’ll sincerely hope that Billy will consider coming to work with her at Chancellor Industries. Back at Society, Jill will join Victor at his table and lash out over the way he went after Billy. Victor will argue that Billy can’t stay in his lane and will wonder what Jill’s going to do next, but she’ll chuckle and offer a “wouldn’t you like to know” in response.

Next, Victor will be relieved over Ashley’s call that Abby’s coming home. Jack will call Jill with the same updates, but both Ashley and Jack will leave out the part about Chance’s survival.

At Kim’s house, Abby will make a video call to Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) in Australia. She’ll let Nina know this is confidential information before handing the phone to Chance, who’ll greet his shocked and overjoyed mom. Nina will get emotional over seeing Chance and hearing his voice again.

At the Chancellor mansion, Jill will gaze at Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) portrait before Billy enters. “Well, what can I say? Didn’t take you very long to lose your faith in me, did it?” an irritated Billy will ask.

As other Y&R details emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy could have some other bad choices in his future, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for thrilling Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates, so make us your number one source.
