The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, May 26 – Ashland’s Warns Jack About Tara – Summer Shuts Nick Down

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 26, tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will have a Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) warning that results in mind games for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Meanwhile, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will shut Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) down when he tries to destroy her dreams.

For starters, Summer will push Nick to get on board with her supportive stance. Y&R fans know Summer intends to stand by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) no matter what.

Summer’s done with bailing on Kyle when things get tough and really wants their relationship to go all the way this time.

Summer wants to marry Kyle and begin a future with him, even if things are sure to be complicated due to this situation with Tara and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

However, Nick will remain convinced sticking with Kyle will only bring more pain. He’ll warn Summer of impending heartbreak, but Summer will refuse to budge on how she feels.

As for Ashland, he’ll find Jack and deliver a warning of his own. Jack will probably assume Jack’s helping Kyle by hiding Tara and Harrison.

Ashland may come to the conclusion that his soon-to-be ex-wife and son are at the Abbott mansion, so Ashland may voice that suspicion before this warning of his.

Ashland will want to open Jack’s eyes to Tara’s true colors. He’ll most likely rant about how Tara can’t be trusted and advise Jack to be careful when dealing with her.

Of course, Jack will probably think Ashland’s just resorting to more mind games. Jack has no intention of turning his back on Harrison’s mother at a time like this, so he’ll continue to help in any way he can.

Ashland will wind up having a crucial meeting with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) within the next episode or two. Sally will plan to become Ashland’s ally, so we’ll see if that partnership leads to amazing benefits or just gets Sally burned in the end!

In the meantime, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will sense that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is deeply troubled. Abby tries to put on a brave face most of the time, but that’s becoming increasingly difficult the longer Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) is away.

Since Devon has proven to be a good confidant for Abby, she’ll turn to him once again for comfort.

Abby will make an emotional confession on Wednesday’s episode, so she may worry Chance won’t come home – or that it was a bad idea to move forward with this pregnancy while everything’s so up in the air.

Regardless, Devon will be there for Abby and help keep her spirits up as best as he can. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby still has some tough hurdles ahead of her, so keep watching.
