The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 4-8 tease that a Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) recast will debut while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) prepares to make a wedding sacrifice. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also carry out a sneaky strategy, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
After Sally’s amazing wedding dress design becomes a finished product, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be impressed.
Chloe just won’t know how Sally can possibly get Victoria to even look at that bridal gown – let alone wear it.
Sally will insist Chloe should just leave that to her, but she’ll need a favor from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as part of her plan.
Y&R spoilers say Sally will need to catch a ride to Tuscany on the Newman jet, so Adam may be suspicious of Sally’s motives.
However, Sally will defend herself and her intentions. She may assure Adam this is strictly about what’s best for business, not some sort of ploy to be alone with him.
Sally’s goal will be to present a wedding dress alternative to Victoria on the sly. She’ll feel confident Victoria will choose this dress as long as she keeps her name out of it.
In the meantime, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will ask for Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) silence. He’ll hope Nick’s willing to keep the secret of Bobby DeFranco and how he faked his death to become the new Ashland.
Unfortunately, the hits will just keep coming for Victoria, who’ll realize Ashland’s empire is built on crimes he’s committed.
Victoria will clash with Ashland as she tries to decide whether to go through with this wedding. Her heart will be screaming “don’t do it,” but her head will tell her she has to put the company first.
Once Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) attend Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) wedding to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), they’ll look forward to watching Victoria and Ashland tie the knot next.
Sadly, there’ll still be some sparring going on when Victor and Nikki arrive in Tuscany. Nikki will quickly pick up on the tension and confront Victoria in private.
Nikki will urge her daughter to back out of the nuptials since Victoria’s heart clearly won’t be in it.
Nevertheless, Victoria will explain the tricky situation to Nikki and insist she has to go through with it to protect the Newman-Locke merger.
As for Adam, he’ll monitor Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) activities and perhaps try to keep his rival from blowing up Victoria’s big day.
Billy will become privy to some jaw-dropping information later, so he’ll have to decide what to do with it.
Victor will halt a plan of Billy’s at some point, so that could spark a fight as Billy makes a last-ditch effort to stop Victoria from marrying Ashland.
Rory Gibson will also make his debut as the new Noah Newman during all the wedding mayhem, so it’ll be fun to see his spin on the character.
Noah will interact with plenty of familiar faces as this recast gets an exciting introduction.
Back in Genoa City, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will find ways to surprise Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and keep their relationship interesting.
Nevertheless, Devon will keep inching closer to Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) as he once again steps up for her during a difficult time.
