The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of September 6-10 teases that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will find a surprise unexpected new target while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) questions Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) love life.
For starters, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will blast Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for fixating on Ashland’s history and trying to uncover some big shocker.
Victoria will think Billy’s being too aggressive in his hunt for damaging information, but he’ll think Victoria knows he’s right deep down.
Victoria will fish to find out if Ashland might still be keeping something from her – particularly something regarding those two news stations and the older wealthy woman who mentored him.
However, Ashland will deny keeping anything from Victoria and will insist he trusts her with his life.
Victor will put Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to work as a spy of sorts. He’ll convince Nick to gather any info he can from Billy’s investigation so they can combine in with their own Newman efforts.
Victor will resolve to find out anything incriminating before the nuptials so that Victoria can call the whole thing off if need be.
When Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) meets up with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), she’ll notice he seems different. Devon will share how hard it’s been to know he helped bring a child into the world that he won’t be raising.
Lily will offer comfort and guidance while Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) gets the same from Sharon as well as Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Other Y&R spoilers say Ashland will butter Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) up by giving him an incredibly generous donation for the new surgical wing.
Ashland will also invite Nate out for a meal with their girlfriends, so he’ll work to strike up a fast friendship.
Of course, Ashland rarely does anything without an agenda! He’ll later extend another invitation that catches Nate off guard, so it sounds like Nate could be caught up in Ashland’s dangerous web – even if he doesn’t realize it right away.
Victoria will seem on the fence in some ways when she chats with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Although Victoria will say all the right things, Nikki will sense some reservations about the impending nuptials.
Nikki may wonder if Victoria’s getting cold feet, but Victoria will remain determined to marry Ashland and build a life together.
Unfortunately, Ashland will face some surprising communication that he doesn’t want at all.
Could someone threaten to expose Ashland’s secret? Will this message involve blackmail?
Those are intriguing options to consider, but we also know Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will gear up for another grilling session soon.
It’s possible Victor will send a message that unsettles and riles Ashland up.
Next, Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) love profession will leave Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) reeling.
Phyllis will gape as Jack uses a little liquid courage and tells her that he never really fell out of love with her. Jack’s feelings will remain strong, so Phyllis will realize they’re in tricky territory.
As for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she’ll be sick of waiting around for Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) to get back in touch.
Abby will want her husband home to help raise Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor, but it looks like she’ll only get another round of bad news.
When Adam meets up with Sharon, he’ll get quizzed about Chelsea and how she’s doing lately.
Sharon will have a hunch that maybe Adam isn’t as over Chelsea as he previously claimed, so she’ll hope to pry the truth out of him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Chelsea could still have a future together at some point, but there’ll be major obstacles to get past first.
