Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, April 1, reveals that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) threw Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) memory in Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) face while Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) panicked over the devil being inside Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
At the Hernandez house on Friday’s DOOL episode, Gabi crossed paths with Jake while he was picking up the last of his things.
Jake couldn’t get past how fast Gabi turned on him during all the devil drama.
Jake also thought they had a more fundamental problem since he would only ever be a pale imitation of Stefan in Gabi’s eyes.
Gabi denied that, but Jake pointed out that she still wore Stefan’s ring on her necklace.
Jake wasn’t convinced that Gabi loved him for him instead of because he was Stefan’s twin.
After Jake told Gabi that he was moving back in his old garage apartment, he stumbled across Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) catfight.
The two of them slapped and grabbed at each other over the whole Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) situation, but Jake tore them apart.
Jake got updates on the cheating mess and admitted he’d broken up with Gabi as well.
Jake gave Ava an ice pack for her cheek as they commiserated inside the pub and ultimately offered to let her stay at his place.
Ava made sure Jake was for real before deciding she was on board with that.
Back with Gabi, she leaned on Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) for support.
Gabi worried that maybe Jake was right – that she was just waiting for Jake to let her down.
Gabi also feared Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) was right about her ending up all alone, but Sonny reminded Gabi of all the people who loved her.
Next on Friday’s Days episode, Rafe talked to TR Coates (William Christian) and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) about the strange drug dealer drama that didn’t add up.
TR seemed concerned over Rafe thinking there was more to the story – especially when Rafe said he’d spoken to Beth Howard (Donielle Artese) about why Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) went to the park.
Afterward, TR met with Beth in his hotel room and reminded her of how important it was to keep quiet.
Beth mentioned her chat with Johnny and lied about letting him believe she got the role through sexual favors.
Beth didn’t divulge that she hinted about TR’s buried past.
Beth suspected that TR wanted to get back together with Paulina because of her money.
TR was rather menacing about Beth keeping her mouth shut since there was so much on the line.
At the Salem PD, Rafe caught up with Nicole and learned she’d been in a physical fight with Ava.
Nicole insisted she gave as good as she got and weighed in on the TR situation as well.
During her visit at the hospital, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) was so sorry for what Lani was going through.
Lani only blamed the criminal responsible for putting Eli in a coma.
When the topic of Chanel and Allie’s new relationship came up, Lani was intrigued and got the story of how that came to be.
Across town on Friday’s Days episode, Allie was busy trying to get through to Johnny at the DiMera mansion.
Allie just didn’t think Johnny was acting like the twin she’d known all her life.
Johnny’s voice could be heard as he tried to fight back against the devil. Allie could tell that something was wrong and worried Johnny was sick.
Possessed Johnny said to shut up and then clarified that he wasn’t talking to Allie.
As Allie kept pushing and pushing, the devil finally let his eyes glow yellow and deepened his voice – leaving Allie alarmed over his sinister outburst.
