Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will have a proposal for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). These exes must follow the devil’s trail to save Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), so that’ll mean putting their issues aside and joining forces.
During the week of April 25-29, Jake will recall some snippets of his faceoff with Johnny.
Jake will be confused as some memories flood back, but he should connect the dots eventually.
Once these memory flashes come, Jake will realize his hunch was right.
DOOL fans know Jake believed Johnny was possessed, so he was skeptical when he found out the devil jumped into Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
Although the devil indeed did a short stint in Belle’s body, he spent far longer using Johnny as a vessel.
Days spoilers say Jake will remember the moments before possessed Johnny wiped his brain clean.
After Jake has that realization, he’ll determine that he could use some backup.
Gabi tried to win Jake back and struck out, so she mostly walked away furious over him living with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Nevertheless, Jake will turn to Gabi for assistance and hope she’s on board with some teamwork.
Gabi and Jake’s relationship was blown apart thanks to possessed Johnny’s trickery, so it’s fitting that they’ll tackle this mission together.
Days spoilers say Jake will make a pitch to Gabi and hopefully persuade her to partner up.
Gabi and Jake may do some digging at the DiMera mansion, where Johnny’s farewell letter was found.
Of course, that letter was a fake one planted by undead Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), so it was meant to convince Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and everyone else that Johnny had gone back to Italy.
Jake and Gabi may not believe that once they start poking around.
Could Gabi and Jake end up checking the DiMera crypt for captives?
Since Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will also find himself kidnapped and tormented in the crypt with Johnny, Jake’s buddy will really need his help!
However, possessed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) could also move her hostages and make this mission a bit tougher.
Even figuring out that Allie is now under the devil’s control could present a challenge for Jake and Gabi.
Gabi and Jake will have their work cut out for them, but they might be Ben and Johnny’s only hope.
