Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) disturbing final encounter will be revealed, so Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will fear prison time for his true love. Let’s talk about Sarah’s situation and why it’ll end up leading to major concerns.
As luck would have it, Sarah started experiencing some troubling aftereffects right before Abigail was killed.
After Sarah had a hallucination of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) coming at her with a syringe, she snapped out of it and realized it was merely Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) with a pen.
Sarah was understandably upset since the antidote seemed to be wearing off, so she opened up to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
That’s when Marlena gave Sarah some advice that Days spoilers say will come back to haunt her!
After offering some support and guidance regarding her meds, Marlena pointed out that Abigail had been through a similar experience.
Sarah seemed on board when Marlena pushed her to go talk to Abigail, so she was likely at the DiMera mansion around the time of this DOOL murder.
At some point, Sarah may confess to having a horrifying hallucination that night – at least that’s what she should assume it was in the aftermath.
Sarah may think back and worry that she stabbed Abigail while trying to defend herself from imaginary Kristen.
However, what actually happened may be far more complicated.
It was interesting that dying Abigail managed to tell Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that “they had a knife.”
What if Abigail meant that Sarah and the real Kristen were fighting over a knife in front of her?
In other words, Sarah could believe she hallucinated a showdown with Kristen when it might’ve been the real thing.
Days provided plenty of ominous hints about Kristen in the months leading up to this moment – including some about the possibility of her turning on Abigail.
That said, Kristen may not have actually meant to plunge the knife if she was struggling with Sarah over it.
Maybe Abigail tried to intervene and got stabbed by mistake.
Whatever the case, it’s suspicious that Sarah is now having Kristen hallucinations.
There has to be more to the story than Sarah accidentally murdering Abigail because of one.
There’s a good chance Kristen was secretly in town and at the house that night, so she may have played a role in Abigail’s death.
Kristen might’ve been afraid Sarah would remember some secret from her time on the island or something along those lines.
If Kristen followed Sarah looking to silence her and Abigail got in her way, it would explain a lot.
Regardless, Xander is going to panic when he realizes how bad things look for Sarah.
Until the whole truth comes out, Xander will inevitably worry about Sarah going to prison and will want to protect her.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah’s last interaction with Abigail could be the key to unlocking this murder mystery, so stick with DOOL!
