Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 14, reveals that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) had stolen money and jewelry in his bag. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) also investigated Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) robbery clues, so here’s how all the Days drama played out.
At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was a distraught mess as he imagined Abigail standing in front of him.
After Rafe showed up at the door, Chad’s vision of Abigail disappeared and left him in even more tears.
Once Chad ranted about the lack of progress in the investigation, Rafe insisted he had all his cops working hard to find answers.
Since Rafe wanted Chad to take him up to the crime scene, Chad agreed as long as it’d help catch the person responsible.
Rafe noticed the lock on Abigail’s jewelry box had been tampered with, so Chad pointed out that a few things were missing like cash, jewelry and photos.
Chad wondered if Rafe thought this was a robbery gone wrong, so Rafe suggested it could be that – or perhaps someone wanted to make it look like a robbery.
Either way, Rafe knew Abigail was a fighter and suggested the culprit probably had wounds as well.
After Rafe left, Chad had another vision of Abigail, who encouraged him to make a baby with her.
Chad sobbed that they couldn’t since Abigail was gone and wanted to hold her one more time, but she disappeared. That left Chad sobbing in despair once again.
In a room at the Salem Inn, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) woke up hungover following a bender and couldn’t remember anything that happened after he fell off the wagon.
Once Lucas raged at himself for being a loser, he tried to throw the empty booze bottle and realized he had a cut hand.
Soon after, Lucas showed up at the pub and learned Abigail was murdered. That left Lucas distraught as he wondered what he’d done last night.
Back with Chad, he answered the door to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and accused her of killing Abigail.
Chad acted like Kate must’ve confronted Abigail about keeping Lucas’ secret and let things get out of hand.
Kate knew Chad was hurting, but she didn’t think he could seriously believe she was responsible for Abigail’s murder.
After Kate ruled Lucas out as well, it led to Chad getting suspicious of him as another suspect.
At Statesville, Leo brought the news of Abigail’s murder to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so they pointed the finger at each other.
Both Gwen and Leo denied killing Abigail, but Leo snuck back to the park and found his hidden bag in the bushes. Inside that bag was a wad of cash and plenty of jewelry.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) offered their support to grieving Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain).
Once Jennifer and Jack were led to the room with Abigail’s body, Jennifer sobbed in Jack’s arms.
After Jennifer reflected on some memories and made a tearful speech to Abigail, Jack made a speech of his own about mistakes and regrets.
Next, Jennifer met up with Lucas at the pub and embraced him. Jack also made his way to Statesville, where he showed up for a somber visit with Gwen.
