Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) could get dragged out of his own wedding as an Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) murder suspect. Will Xander work to shield Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) from the fallout?
During the week of July 18-22, Xander will insist he wants to marry Sarah immediately.
Once Xander convinces Sarah they should concentrate on their future, she’ll get on board with their ASAP nuptials.
That means it won’t be long until Xander and Sarah’s ceremony gets underway, but there’ll be a surprise interruption.
Before we get to that, we should back up and point out that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will undergo hypnosis to retrieve his missing memories.
That’ll lead to Lucas remembering some bits and pieces of the night Abigail was killed.
Soon after, Xander’s wedding to Sarah will be derailed – and then a new detective named Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will grill a fresh suspect in the murder case.
Days spoilers suggest Jada will interrogate this person pretty hard, so that doesn’t really sound like Sarah.
Considering Sarah’s mental state and everything she’s been through, she probably wouldn’t be treated so harshly by the Salem PD.
Xander, on the other hand, absolutely would be treated harshly due to his murderous track record.
Perhaps Lucas will remember some strange things about Xander’s behavior that fateful night and jump to the wrong conclusion.
If Xander starts to worry that Sarah is to blame instead, he may try to take the fall for her.
After all, Xander kept ranting about how Sarah’s problems were Abigail’s fault.
DOOL fans watched Xander lash out over Abigail leaving that syringe behind on more than one occasion.
Maybe Xander will get accused of seeking revenge for Sarah’s ordeal – and he may even confess down the road if he feels it’s the only way to protect Sarah.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Xander’s wedding to Sarah will face a stumbling block.
It appears that could be due to one of them being called in for questioning, so Xander makes the most sense based on the harsh nature of the interrogation.
Sarah may actually be innocent, but you can bet Xander will work to protect her no matter what!
