General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will kick off a dangerous drinking game, so the cabin tension will explode through drugs, secrets and buried feelings. Let’s talk about this much-anticipated trip and all the chaos Esme’s going to cause during the week of January 24-28.
From the get-go, Esme has been up to no good when it comes to this weekend getaway.
Esme’s become obsessed with making it happen and never misses an opportunity to bring it up in her conversations with the rest of the crew.
When Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was busy worrying about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) marriage falling apart, Esme remained fixated on the cabin.
Esme feared Josslyn might not be able to lock in their visit due to all Sonny’s turmoil, but Joss ultimately offered reassurance.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) sees the softer side of Esme – and even Josslyn is open to the idea that Esme might not be all bad.
Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will probably never trust Esme and is competition for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) in Esme’s eyes.
That means things will already be complicated when the whole gang shows up at the cabin looking for a fun time.
Esme will keep touting this as an opportunity to make memories and help Spencer relax before his prison stint.
Unfortunately, the mood will be anything but relaxing thanks to what Esme has in store. We can’t forget that Esme picked up a strong-dosage prescription that she seems to have huge plans for.
There’s a good chance Esme’s going to spike the party drinks and encourage everyone to drink up through a risky game.
Night will fall at the cabin and add to the ominous vibe of what Esme’s cooked up.
It’ll be Esme who suggests they should all play a game, so there are some intriguing options to mull over.
Never Have I Ever might be a good way to ensure some drinks are guzzled. It could also bring some revealing answers and stir the pot.
Of course, Truth or Dare is another classic that could perhaps come with a drinking twist if Esme’s running the show.
If nothing else, the conflict Esme creates could make everyone more inclined to drink and forget the disaster that’s unfolding right before their eyes.
Esme will definitely take great pleasure in causing trouble and trying to tear this group of friends apart.
As for the drugs, Esme seems fixated on the idea of Cameron and Trina almost being a thing.
Esme also hates Josslyn and might arrange for her to catch her drugged bestie in bed with her drugged boyfriend!
Even if it’s purely a setup, Esme could cause plenty of mayhem and make Cameron’s romantic history a bigger factor.
One thing’s for sure, this cabin getaway is going to end with a bang and wreak havoc on some close bonds.
