General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, May 6 Update – Carly’s Risky Lie – Brando Begs for Help – Sonny Strikes Deal

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 6, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will tell a risky lie while Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) begs for help. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also strike a deal, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be in a state of shock.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) just admitted that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) wasn’t Willow’s biological mother, so Willow will want more answers.

Since Carly was the last person to speak with Harmony alive, Willow will wonder if Harmony told her anything.

Although Willow will be desperate for additional info, Carly will have to choose her words carefully.

Harmony didn’t want Carly spilling the truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being Willow’s bio mom.

Carly might tell herself that she’s honoring Harmony’s wishes and protecting Willow, but revenge is surely playing a role here, too.

Regardless of her motives, it looks like Carly will lie and act like she’s in the dark on Willow’s true mother.

Carly will want to get some DNA confirmation first anyway, so she’ll cover up what Harmony told her for now.

Over with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), she’ll be glad to have Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in her corner.

Valentin will step up to assist Gladys, so this will link to Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) ordeal in some way.

Gladys seems to have a hunch that Sasha’s back on drugs or at least dabbling in something troubling.

Gladys is anxious to find out what’s on that memory card, so Valentin figure that out and maybe even clean up Sasha’s photographer mess for her.

However, Gladys won’t discover proof of Sasha’s drug use until later based on down-the-road spoilers.

There’s a chance Valentin will hide the truth from Gladys and approach Sasha directly about her pill problem.

Friday’s preview clip shows Sasha lashing out over the arrival of someone unexpected, so we’ll see if that’s Valentin or someone else.

Whatever the case, Sasha may convince herself she’s got everything under control since she flushed her stash.

Sadly, it’d be far too easy for Sasha to get her hands on more pills to pop.

Brando will sense that Sasha’s headed for a spin-out and won’t think he can handle it alone.

It’s possible Brando will turn to Nina again or perhaps Sonny since he’s given good guidance in the past.

Brando will need urgent advice on how to pull Sasha out of the pit of despair.

Sasha was already struggling, but things will definitely get worse now that she blames herself for Harmony’s death.

What happened to Harmony was a tragic accident – one that Harmony herself set in motion with outrageous criminal behavior.

That criminal behavior could become part of the conversation when Nina tracks Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) down and pushes him to focus.

Nina’s priority is securing visits with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) no matter the cost.

That could mean speaking ill of the dead if Nina decides to use Harmony’s actions against her in the looming court battle.

A judge might view Nina as less of a threat compared to horrible Harmony.

It’s just a matter of whether Nina’s willing to sink that low considering Willow’s grief is so fresh.

Nina and Scott will do some strategizing, so they may get on the same page about doing whatever it takes to pull off a victory in court – even if it means being cruel.

When Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) bumps into Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at the hospital, they’ll discuss Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) surprising history.

Curtis will remain livid over Marshall abandoning his family over seemingly minor issues and then letting his son believe he was in witness protection.

Jordan’s main concern will be how Curtis obtained this information since she’ll feel certain it wasn’t done legally.

Although Curtis probably won’t offer up any details, Jordan may connect the dots and realize Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is the missing link.

Curtis and Jordan should get into a shouting match over the slippery slope he could be facing when dealing with the mob.

Speaking of the mob, Sonny’s organization could use reinforcements.

Dex (Evan Hofer) wants a new job, so Sonny seems poised to offer him one – but only if Dex is cool with being part of Port Charles’ dangerous underworld.

It looks like Dex and Sonny will reach an agreement, so Dex will score a new position and do his best to prove his worth.

General Hospital spoilers say Dex’s past will no doubt come with a few mysteries, so stay tuned to see more about his backstory.
