General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, September 19, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a bold vow while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) gets false hope. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will also receive a tempting invitation, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Port Charles.
By Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) bedside, Sasha will cry with relief now that Brando’s awake. It’ll feel like this nightmare is on the verge of being over.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will also have a chance to quiz Brando about what happened in the alley.
Unfortunately, the attacker’s face may have been concealed – that is if Brando even survives long enough to tell his side of the story.
GH writers are faking out fans since Brando is about to face a grim fate. Sonny will be mourning this loss along with the rest of Port Charles early during the week of September 19-23.
Until then, Sonny will seethe over an enemy potentially targeting him. Jordan thinks Sonny’s family might be under attack, so Sonny will vow not to be left in the dark!
Since Sonny has a ton of resources, he’ll no doubt put them to work on cracking this case. In the meantime, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will still be in charge of guarding Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) discreetly.
Josslyn will struggle to shake the feeling that she’s being watched, so that’ll be eerie since the hook villain is still out there. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will listen to Josslyn’s concerns and fear for her safety, too.
However, Dex may make a blunder that alerts Josslyn to his presence. Sooner or later, it seems Joss will find out Sonny assigned Dex to watch over her.
Since Josslyn still has issues with Sonny, she may end up lashing out at Dex. We’ll see Dex try to smooth things over in a tricky situation, but Josslyn will still complain to Trina.
Other GH spoilers say Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will push for Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) confession. Portia will urge Curtis to admit that he’d still be a couple with Jordan if she hadn’t lied.
Curtis won’t see what this really matters since Jordan indeed kept secrets and deceived him. It’ll seem like there’s more going on here, so Curtis will want Portia to spill.
Of course, Portia won’t want to admit the real reason she’s on edge. Curtis keeps talking about how he could never build a future with someone dishonest, but Portia’s been keeping Trina’s paternity under wraps her entire life!
Since Curtis is Trina’s bio dad, that’s going to cause problems down the road. For now, Portia may cover or simply get called away before she has to explain her weird behavior.
As for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll be surprised when another memory rises to the surface. It should involve the staircase incident from Liz’s younger years, but she won’t get why this trauma is suddenly coming back to her.
Finally, Gregory Chase (Gregory Chase) will have an enticing invitation for Alexis to consider. There was some friction when Alexis and Gregory first met, but that only fueled their apparent attraction.
Now Gregory may be poised to take Alexis on a date of sorts. Alexis will enjoy getting to know Gregory a bit better, but their fun outing will be derailed once it moves forward.
