General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 4, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get busted over Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) gives herself a guilt trip. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will also warn Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), so here’s what viewers can expect.
In Jacksonville, Carly will get hung up on some painful parts of her history.
As Carly blames herself for things she can’t change, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will do his best to help her break free and move forward.
Back in Port Charles, Sonny will want the person responsible for Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) stabbing to pay.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may push Sonny to let the police handle this, but Sonny will intend to seek justice his own way.
After Diane is awake, she’ll try to push past the haze and remember what happened in the garage.
That’ll bring some memories of a woman under the hood and the sound of her bracelets clanking together.
Next, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will have a proposition for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so he’ll make a pitch and leave Michael with an offer to mull over.
After Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) wraps up that unsettling encounter with “Carver” at Pozzulo’s, she’ll find Michael and reveal some troubling Dex updates.
Josslyn will have a hunch that Sonny is holding Dex hostage and interrogating him for answers, so Michael will join her in confronting Sonny eventually.
In the meantime, Victor will get pushy about a request, so that’ll lead to some bickering with Nikolas.
Since Victor wants Nik to visit Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) at Pentonville, maybe that’ll become a source of tension.
Victor’s fears about Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) could be another reason for him to clash with Nikolas.
Now that Nikolas has given Ava power over him through his written and recorded confession, there’ll be trouble if Victor gets a hint about that.
Victor will warn Nikolas not to put “that” to the test, so it’ll be interesting to see exactly what he’s concerned about and whether Nik will fall in line.
At Spring Ridge, Ava will saunter in and catch Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) off guard.
Ryan will pretend his locked-in syndrome is still a factor, so Ava will be the one doing all the talking.
After Ava mentions Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) overstaying her welcome, she’ll ominously hint that her enemy is gone.
Ryan won’t be able to ask questions, but he’ll undoubtedly suspect that Ava might be to blame for Esme’s death.
However, Esme is alive and will soon reveal herself to GH fans.
We’ll see Esme pull off a sneaky visit with Ryan soon, so that’ll give these two a chance to catch up.
General Hospital spoilers say Esme will have some new tricks up her sleeve, so stick with the ABC soap.
