General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, September 27 Recap – Carly & Drew’s Hotel Sleepover – Dex Calls Sonny Instead of Lawyer

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 27, reveals that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had a hotel sleepover while Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) called Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) instead of a lawyer.

At GH, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) wanted information from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) on Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), but she reiterated the need for discretion.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) made a smart remark about keeping important details under wraps being Jordan’s area of expertise, so Portia apologized for him once he stomped off.

Afterward, Jordan went somewhere more private with Portia, who noted that the wound was more precisely inflicted this time.

Jordan realized the killer’s technique was improving – though Diane now seemed to be doing well.

That worried Jordan since the last time a victim survived, the attacker made sure the next strike would kill.

At Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) place, she got support from Sonny before assuring him it was OK to leave.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) stepped out with Sonny, who got a call about Diane’s stabbing and had to rush to the hospital.

Back with Sasha, she felt she was all alone now that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was gone, but Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) said they were still family and that Sasha would be stuck with her.

Later, Gladys suggested making funeral arrangements, but the funeral home refused to take Sasha’s card.

It was on hold at the bank, so Sasha realized it was because of the guardianship.

Nina quickly offered up her card instead, but Sasha felt she should be the one to handle this and cried in Nina’s arms.

However, Sasha eventually settled down and thanked Nina, who promised both Sasha and Gladys that she wasn’t going anywhere.

At the hospital, Curtis told Sonny that Diane was in surgery and said he owed Sonny for what he did for Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).

Sonny kept quiet about Marshall’s anti-psych meds, so Curtis appreciated Sonny looking out for his father.

Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) joined Trina and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) at the ax throwing club.

In a moment alone with Trina, Josslyn admitted she found Rory preferable to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and acknowledged that she still hadn’t told Cam the truth about Dex helping her dumpster dive.

Josslyn suggested a friendly competition as the gang threw axes, but Jordan broke up the party by calling Rory on his day off.

Rory agreed to come guard Diane and learned Dex was being questioned at the PCPD.

Josslyn was alarmed over the Diane news and cornered Rory alone to find out who the suspect was.

All Rory could say was that they’d questioned this person before and that they were at all three crime scenes.

That tipped Josslyn off to the fact that it was Dex, so she headed for the police station.

Cameron also took this opportunity to call Trina out on the tension between them, which was due to him keeping secrets for Spencer.

Trina admitted she was mad, but she didn’t intend to hold a grudge and just needed a minute to get over it.

Cameron wanted Trina to understand that he was torn between two people he cared about.

Trina thought back to her own situation since she was now keeping Joss’ secret about dumpster-diving with Dex and understood.

In the interrogation room, Dex insisted he was innocent despite Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) suspicious questions.

After Dante advised Dex to call a lawyer, he called Sonny for help instead.

Once Sonny arrived, Dante explained how Dex had been found over Diane’s body with blood on his hands.

Since Dex was spotted at the scene of all three attacks, Dante thought Sonny should ask himself how well he really knew Dex Heller.

Sonny approached Dex, who hoped his boss believed him. After Sonny confirmed that Dex wasn’t arrested, he said they were leaving.

Jordan still felt something was off with Dex, so Dante assured her that she wasn’t wrong and that he’d keep digging.

Back with Dex, he got in Sonny’s vehicle and thanked him for the ride home. Sonny said they were going to make a stop first and smirked rather menacingly.

As for Josslyn, she made her way to the police station and quizzed Dante about what happened with Dex.

In Jacksonville, Carly was stunned when Drew showed up at her doorstep and revealed he found out her location thanks to Mia Lombardi (Vanessa Mathison).

Carly was touched that Drew came all that way and got reassurance about the kids being safe back home.

Once a text came in, Carly seemed disappointed over bad news.

That led to Carly explaining the cemetery drama and how it was being cleared out for beach access.

Carly hired a lawyer and filed an injunction, but she had no legal standing because she wasn’t a resident.

Drew reminded Carly that he owned a media company and thought they could make some noise with it.

They would lay into the guild and the developers, so Drew was more than willing to stick around for a couple days and make things happen.

Drew also showed Carly a sweet video he recorded of Donna Corinthos (Ava Rose) and Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) before he left town.

Carly was touched again and refused to let Drew drive to another hotel since all the ones in the area were booked up.

Drew was hesitant to stay, but Carly insisted they were adults and could have a friendly sleepover.

Carly was apologetic when the couch didn’t pull out, but it wasn’t a big deal to Drew since he spent years in captivity.

After Carly got in bed and Drew settled in on the sofa, she thanked him once more.

Drew promised that they’d fix the situation with her adoptive mother, so Carly now seemed convinced they would.

Back in Port Charles, Curtis complained to Portia about Jordan talking like they weren’t solid – like there were secrets between them, too.

Although Curtis assumed Jordan was just projecting, Portia got nervous and dashed off to take care of something.

Once Portia showed up at Jordan’s office, she slammed the door behind her and said Curtis told her about their little divorce paper chat. “Jordan, how dare you?!” Portia declared.

General Hospital spoilers say Portia and Jordan are about to have quite a showdown, so stay tuned.
