General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) hotel room will get bugged, so Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will help Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pull off a dangerous scheme.
GH fans know Valentin recently came up with an idea and told Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that Nina could be the key.
It turns out that’s because Nina owns half the Metro Court and can offer an excuse for a room change.
Victor is a smart guy who always tries to cover all his bases and keep himself protected.
That’s why Johann (Max Decker) the bodyguard is always hanging around to serve as muscle and do his part.
However, Johann helps Victor in other ways too since he regularly scans for listening devices in his boss’ hotel room.
That’ll create a challenge when it comes to Valentin and Anna’s goal of bugging the place.
Fortunately, Anna and Valentin will have some backup as they carry out the next phase of their plan.
After Anna recruits Robert, he’ll provide a distraction and will keep Johann busy for a while.
Since Anna and Valentin can’t bug Victor’s original room without getting caught, they’ll opt to move him in another room instead – one that’s already rigged with a listening device.
It’ll just be a matter of offering an excuse that isn’t too suspicious and having Nina deliver it. That part will be rather tricky since Nina is a big talker!
Nina will make a phone call to Victor and explain why she needs to move him to another room temporarily.
Victor will accept the bogus explanation, but Nina will nearly blow this by staying on the line too long and saying way too much.
As a result, Valentin will push Nina to zip it and end the call before she ruins the plot.
There’ll be some nail-biting moments, but Nina should manage to get off the phone before the plan falls apart.
Of course, Victor is a crafty character who’s always coming up with schemes of his own.
Just because Valentin and Anna succeed briefly doesn’t mean they’ll truly get away with this.
Victor is the kind of guy who catches on fast, so he may realize what’s going on at some point and retaliate.
Even so, Valentin is desperate to get Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain) back, so he’ll do everything he can to gather the intel he needs. No one can blame Valentin for trying!
