General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 14, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will face a trip disaster while fans see the Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) attack aftermath. Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will also land in some trouble, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
First, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will report to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and get the latest news on the Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) investigation.
Ava will be busy confronting Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) at GH, so they’ll stop dancing around what she really wants to know.
Now that Ava is certain that Nik lied about his alibi, she’ll question if he was behind the attack.
Nikolas will promise Ava that he didn’t plunge that hook – and he may insist he didn’t hire someone to do it either.
We’ll see Nikolas work hard to show sincerity and make Ava see that he’s an innocent man for once.
Elsewhere at the hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will consider whether Jordan might’ve intentionally sabotaged the divorce – just to stay married to Curtis and keep hope alive.
Portia won’t think Jordan herself is even sure of her feelings for Curtis.
It’s not like Jordan has been making any major plays for Curtis’ heart, but there’s still a connection whether they want it to be there or not.
Curtis may also quiz TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about the divorce drama and whether he thinks Jordan is still carrying a torch.
TJ won’t get why all this is coming up now, so Curtis may offer updates on the bogus story he received.
As for Jordan, she’ll do her best to keep Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) secret under wraps and keep her relationship with Curtis and Portia on solid ground.
Next, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will talk to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about her progressing relationship with Dante and congratulate her on the living together milestone.
Sam may also point out that she’s noticed the growing closeness between Drew and Carly, but he may admit they’ve struggled to get on the same page.
That said, Carly’s voicemail seemed hopeful – though Drew may be wary of interrupting Carly’s career focus on her corporate retreat.
However, Sam won’t see why Carly can’t mix business with pleasure and will urge Drew to head down to Aruba for the seminar, too.
The problem is that Carly’s flight has been derailed due to turbulence.
It looks like there’ll be an issue with the plane itself as well, so Carly will face an emergency landing along with her fellow passengers.
No matter where Carly ends up, she’ll cross paths with a hostile face within the next couple episodes.
That could be as simple as an angry hotel clerk or as shocking as Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) following a return from the dead, so we’ll see how it all plays out!
Whatever the case, Carly will have some company sooner or later.
Drew will work to track Carly down and help her on her latest adventure, so it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store.
Outside Charlie’s Pub, Brando will be fatally wounded by the mysterious hook baddie.
That villain just came swinging at Brando, who was seemingly in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) appeared to be the real target, but it’ll be Brando who pays with his life.
Since Dex doesn’t know Joss has his sunglasses, he may backtrack and head for Charlie’s Pub again to find them.
That could lead to Dex discovering Brando’s stabbed body, but it could look suspicious if he’s stooping like he just attacked Brando himself.
There’s also the matter of Dex hanging around Ava’s body before this one, so it’s easy to see why Dante will grow to distrust him.
In the meantime, Sonny will face a difficult discovery of his own.
After Sonny reassures Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) about Brando always being there for her, he’ll realize Brando has become the new hook victim.
Although there may be some effort to save Brando at the hospital, it’ll be futile since his death and funeral are coming up.
Dante and Jordan will get called to the scene of the crime, so they’ll do their part to connect the Ava and Brando dots in this investigation.
