The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 27, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will fight for Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) dad rights after Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) reveals disturbing news.
Brooke is anxious about Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) being in Thomas’ care, so she’s shared her fears to both Ridge and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
That knife situation was seemingly the last straw for Brooke, who’s vowed to call Child Protective Services if it comes to that.
Of course, Brooke hasn’t even divulged the worst part of the encounter.
Thomas is trying to play it off like Brooke just flipped out over him having a knife around Douglas, but that’s only part of the story.
Since Thomas neglected to mention how he hurled threats and pointed the knife at Brooke, she’ll apparently spill all that to Ridge.
B&B spoilers say Ridge will find Brooke’s revelation rather disturbing, but he still won’t think Thomas deserves to lose Douglas.
Later, Ridge and Thomas will be at the Forrester mansion when a couple of CPS officers arrive.
That’ll obviously leave Ridge thinking that Brooke must’ve followed through on her threat.
Ridge will refuse to believe Thomas is a danger to Douglas, so he’ll fume and rush to his son’s defense.
Thomas is a perfectly good father as far as Ridge is concerned, so he’ll work to convince Child Protective Services that Douglas is safe with him.
As for Hope, she’ll struggle to believe that Thomas would do anything to harm Douglas.
Hope will always have her guard up when it comes to Thomas, but she’ll think he’s a doting dad and won’t agree with Brooke’s view.
However, Hope could have some new worries once Brooke reveals the full knife story.
Even if Hope still defends Thomas as a parent, she may see Brooke’s point about his dangerous side creeping back up.
