The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) marriage proposal plan will be ruined, so look for his Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) wedding dream to get derailed.
It’s no secret that Carter is madly in love with Quinn and wants to build a future with her.
That obviously includes marriage someday, so it’s reasonable to assume Carter might plan a romantic proposal this fall.
Regardless, marriage is something that Carter wants with Quinn eventually, but that dream just isn’t going to pan out.
Devastation is on the way instead since Rena Sofer left the show – and that means Carter’s life will be thrown entirely off course.
It’d really set Carter up for heartache if they showed him excitedly planning Quinn’s proposal.
It’s easy to imagine Carter selecting the perfect ring and making all the arrangements for an incredible night.
That could set the stage for a crushing phone call about Quinn’s presumed death or something along those lines.
Then again, maybe Quinn could suddenly get spooked about a long-term commitment and bail after leaving a note.
Whatever excuse B&B writers come up with may end up being contrived, but the point is Carter’s going to be shocked and deeply distressed.
Any hopes of marrying Quinn will go right out the window and leave Carter back where he started – lonely and single!
Carter will have to pick up the pieces of his broken heart and find a way forward eventually.
Quinn will be hard for Carter to get over, but he’ll have to try – and some lovely lady may be willing to help down the road.
Whether that lovely lady is Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) or a different special someone, Carter will have another shot at happiness one he copes and moves on.
