The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap review for the week of November 28-December 2 reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) decided she wasn’t going to be Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) doormat anymore after Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) played the hero.
For starters, it was nice to see Steffy be the one to object to Ridge and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) wedding.
B&B put Steffy in a terrible situation, but she rose to the challenge and played the hero in a difficult moment.
It’s no secret that Steffy hates the idea of a Brooke and Ridge reunion.
That’s why it meant so much that Steffy was willing to risk that – and her mother’s happiness – for the sake of the truth coming out.
It was just refreshing to see a character do something simply because it was the right thing to do, which doesn’t always happen a lot on this show!
Steffy cleared Brooke’s name, exposed Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) CPS call scandal and gave Ridge the info he desperately needed.
Of course, having Steffy come clean meant the writers had to throw Taylor under the bus a bit.
It was a little out of character for typically honest Taylor to try hiding the truth, so her five-minute secret seemed like a contrived way to add to Ridge’s dilemma.
We should also talk about Brooke’s reaction once Ridge told her the whole ugly story.
Brooke was clear about her forever love, but she also wanted Ridge to understand that the flip-flopping has to stop.
Ridge has some serious commitment issues, so he needs to work on those and figure out a firm path forward for himself.
Brooke refused to be Ridge’s doormat and suggested he needed to get his act together before a reunion could happen – that is if one happens at all.
Knowing how much Brooke loves Ridge, it was a big deal for her to turn him away and force him to fix himself before they can potentially fix their relationship.
Brooke was right since Ridge needs to settle on one woman, but will it be Brooke or Taylor in the end?
Our money is on destiny winning out, so Ridge and Brooke may get back together down the road.
