General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis’ Trial Outcome – Will Desmond’s Daddy Land in Prison?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will stand his ground when it comes to rejecting the plea deal that’s been offered to him.

Curtis’ trial is set to begin as a result, so it’ll officially get underway on August 5.

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) clearly have some concerns about Curtis rolling the dice with this trial decision.

Curtis is risking a far longer sentence by turning down the two-year plea deal, which could’ve resulted in him getting paroled in as little as eight months.

That would’ve been preferable to the lengthy stint that Curtis could be facing if things don’t go his way in court.

However, Curtis doesn’t want to essentially let Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) win and take over the daddy spot while he’s stuck behind bars.

Plus, Curtis missed out on being there for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) when she was a baby and doesn’t want to miss out on Desmond Ashford’s (Yirah Aviah Lafond) first months, too.

There are good reasons why Curtis is willing to take this gamble in court, but will it pay off or end in disaster?

Regardless, there are sure to be some tense moments in the courtroom once Isaiah gets on the witness stand.

That’ll play out in GH’s August 6 episode, so look for Isaiah to share his version of events.

Of course, Isaiah remains angry over his injured hand and derailed career as a surgeon.

It’s easy to see why Isaiah wants Curtis to pay, but Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) may use that to his advantage while questioning him.

Martin may get Isaiah all riled up and get him to blurt out some things that’d provoke someone in Curtis’ position.

The goal should be to make the attack on Isaiah seem warranted, so Martin will likely push his buttons and try to get him to explode.

Isaiah will wind up complaining to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) once his testimony is over.

Although Isaiah may not think his part in the trial went well, the decision will ultimately be in the hands of the jury.

Curtis has promised Desmond that no one is going to separate them, which feels awfully ominous.

Could Curtis actually get convicted and have to do real prison time or will he get the acquittal he’s hoping for?

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis’ future will be decided soon, so stay tuned for the huge news to come.
