Tonight’s the Equalizer episode reveals Delilah wants to learn how to protect herself. She went to her mom about lessons. Her mom said no. she went to Mel and Mel actually agreed to help. Mel realized that Delilah was going to get lessons from someone. It might as well be her. Mel agreed to help and that was it for Delilah. She was going to get as much from those lessons as she can. She also wasn’t going to tell her mom about them. Delilah would leave the house early. She would turn off the tracker on her phone. She also knew other ways to evade her mother and so Robyn eventually realized that Delilah was hiding something. She couldn’t figure out what it was.

Then this case comes along. It played on all of Robyn’s worst fears. There was a grieving mother who came to Robyn for help because she wanted to get justice against the people that sold her daughter some bad drugs at a warehouse party. Seventeen year old Taylor didn’t know that her ecstasy was cut with fentanyl. Or that the stuff would be fifty times more potent than heroin. Taylor overdosed on those drugs. She died at the party and her friend had to find her dead on the bathroom floor. The friend took the same drugs from the dealer, but she was okay and Taylor wasn’t. Taylor’s family has been struggling ever since her death. Taylor’s younger sister Wendy was spiraling out. And the mother thought justice would help give Wendy closure.

Robyn told her people about the case. They tracked down the drug dealer. His name was Danilo. Robyn went to his apartment and she found Danilo dead on the floor. He had been murdered. There was a small bit of drugs in Danilo’s pocket. It didn’t look like he was going to sell that. It more looked like it was for personal use. Robyn didn’t stay long at the apartment when she had to leave because someone called the police. Detective Dante caught the case. Dante told her she matches a description of a woman going into the apartment around the time of the murder. Or at least that’s what the neighbor thought.

Dante warned Robyn to stay under the radar. Only she told him she wasn’t backing away from this case. She thought the person who killed Danilo was also his drug supplier. Danilo had apparently bought the bad drugs online from an actual drug dealer. Danilo only gave some drugs to Taylor and her friend because he was trying to make a move on them and he thought being a drug dealer would impress them. Danilo was just a privileged young man that liked to party. He didn’t deserve to die. Robyn went looking for his killer to find out who sold the bad drugs. She went around talking to Danilo’s friends.

The friends said Danilo ordered his drugs online. Robyn was given a number. She passed that number onto Harry and Mel. They then ordered some drugs. Thanks in large part to Delilah knowing which emoji equals ecstasy. Delilah wasn’t taking drugs. She just knew how to order it if she ever changes her mind and so her help got Harry close enough to the messenger’s phone to clone it. He then figured out who the real drug dealer was. He gave Robyn the man’s information and she again went to someone’s apartment only to find them dead. It also didn’t help that the local police came barging in. And they tried to arrest her because they thought she was the killer.

Robin had knock out the young officer before making her escape. She went out to the street. She ran into Dante and Dante helped her get away. Dante also told her that she wasn’t being under the radar. She told him that she tried to be. She was connected to two murders at that point. She wanted to find the other vigilante to clear her name. Robyn may be a vigilante, but she didn’t go around killing unarmed people. She and Dante both thought about what could drive someone to kill. They soon realize only love or the death of a loved one could have been the motive. Robyn then had Harry to look into all the fentanyl overdoses in the city.

There was a lot of them. But Robyn narrowed by saying people who have loved ones in special forces. Danilo and the other guy were both killed by someone with skill. Harry narrow the field. He quickly came across Jessica Reid. She overdosed from the same club where Danilo worked. She most likely got her bad drugs from him. Which was why he was the first to die. Jessica’s father Earl Reid was a decorated soldier. He and Jessica’s stepfather were both in the military. They both wanted justice for Jessica any way they could get it. They went on the rampage and it led them to who was truly in charge of the tainted drugs – the Russian mob.

Robyn tried to warn the big boss in time. She didn’t want Earl to make another mistake. She tried to spare him and she almost died because of it. But then Earl hit the building they were in. Earl went after the mob boss. Robyn went after him. She stopped him from killing another person. She just couldn’t stop mob boss from killing Earl. Earl died in Robyn’s arms. He died after Robyn promised the mob boss would go to jail for what happened to Jessica.

Robyn called the police. They found a bunch of evidence in the warehouse proving what the mob was up to. The whole thing ended up clearing Robyn’s name and so Robyn was able to go back to Taylor’s mom. And they lit a candle for Taylor, Jessica, and Earl.

But Robyn never knew where Delilah was sneaking out to and it was Violet who got answers. Violet followed Delilah one day. She saw Delilah taking self-defense classes from Mel. And so she solved the mystery of where Delilah goes that she doesn’t want anyone to know about.

THE END!
