The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, September 12 Recap – Sally’s Epic CEO Fail – Nate Seeks New Job from Victoria

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, September 12, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make an epic CEO fail – and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will seek a new job from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Here’s what Y&R fans can expect in Monday’s exciting episode.

At Newman Enterprises, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will talk about Sally second-guessing herself and being off kilter due to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victoria will be tempted to replace Sally since she’s not on her game, but Nick will think she needs time to turn things around.

At Newman Media, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will flip out since Sally didn’t show up for the marketing summit between Newman Media and the parent company’s marketing teams.

Sally will insist that’s happening later today, but Chloe will argue that it already happened – and she’ll know for a fact since she had to give the presentation herself. After Sally checks her calendar and sees that Chloe was right, she’ll admit she got distracted by Adam.

Sally will assure Chloe that she pumped the brakes with her ex, but Nick will arrive to find them bickering. Once Nick points out that he knows about the missed meeting, he’ll speak with Sally alone and push for answers.

Sally will bring Nick up to speed on her Adam encounter, so Nick will acknowledge that her old relationship is affecting her. After Sally promises she can do this job, Nick will feel confident that’s true if she can get Adam out of her system.

Next, Sally will fret to Chloe that she’ll be out if she makes one more misstep. Chloe will think the solution is to stay away from Adam, but Sally will rant about how she can’t just cut him out of her heart because everyone tells her to.

Once Chloe gets fed up, she’ll invite Sally to throw away her whole future and will swear she’s done before storming out.

At Crimson Lights, Nate will fill Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) in on the latest Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) drama and will feel like she’s taking Devon’s side. Elena will deny it and argue that she’s just trying to see Devon’s point of view.

Although Elena will hint about Nate going back to work at the hospital, he’ll warn that it’s not happening. The only way Nate would go back to Memorial is if he could work as a surgeon, but Devon made sure that wasn’t possible.

Later, Nate will approach Victoria while she’s at the coffeehouse as well. Victoria will be surprised when Nate mentions the previous Newman Enterprises job offer. Nate will admit he’s interested in pursuing other opportunities now and will allude to family work issues.

Victoria won’t have the right fit at the moment, but she’ll vow to keep Nate in mind since she’s got a bunch of acquisitions in the works. As for the family drama part, Victoria will suggest sometimes it forces you to push through the difficult moments and make it work.

Once Nick reconvenes with Victoria, he’ll hint about Sally’s extenuating circumstances and note that she took ownership of her mistake. That won’t be good enough for Victoria, who’ll point out there are other viable options if Sally isn’t up to the task.

Nick will once again voice support for Sally, but Victoria will think they should at least let her know there’ll be no second chances.

Victoria will add that they’ve overlooked a lot when it comes to Sally and will mention there are other good executives out there – like Nate, who came to Victoria looking for a job.

Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will debate all the cousin clashing as well as Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) idea to take the company public. In the end, Billy will help Lily relax with a hug and a massage.

Back at Crimson Lights, Nate will give Imani Benedict (temporarily played by Denise Boutte) updates on his plan blowing up and will declare it his last day at Chancellor-Winters.

Imani will push Nate to stay since leaving would just confirm to Devon that he was right – that Nate couldn’t handle the position.

Nate won’t know what he’s supposed to do since he tried playing by the rules as well as defying them. Nothing will be working in Nate’s opinion, but Imani will feel like maybe it’s time to start thinking a little more ruthlessly.
