The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, January 25 Recap – Victoria & Ashland Suspect Victor – Phyllis Wants to Leave GC

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 25, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will fume over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) secret while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants to leave Genoa City for good. Let’s talk about what’s ahead on Tuesday’s exciting Y&R episode.

In Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) office, she’ll be with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) when Adam barges in.

Adam will wonder if Victoria thinks she can get away with this and will start ranting about the lawsuit over the “Newman Media” name.

Victoria will argue that Adam should use this as an opportunity to rebrand – perhaps as “Victor and Son.”

Adam will suggest this lawsuit is a ridiculous ploy and will feel confident this is just about the green-eyed monster coming out. He’ll contend that Victoria has to be number one in Victor’s eyes.

Although Adam won’t think Victoria’s latest move will sit well with Victor, Victoria will insist that’s between them and doesn’t concern Adam.

Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will show up at the ranch, where he’ll tell Victor that a formal announcement will made soon about him stepping down as DA.

Michael will also talk to Victor about the lawsuit before Victor pays Victoria a visit in her office.

Victor will want to know if this is about exerting leverage or if Victoria is serious.

Victor will remind Victoria of who she’s dealing with and warn that the empire he built will stay under his name.

Victoria will think that’s the point – for Newman Media to be under the company that Victor built. She’ll argue that they could avoid all this if Victor would just sell it to her.

Victor will realize this is indeed about leverage, so he’ll ask what’ll happen to Adam if Victoria gets her way.

Victor act like Adam running Newman Media should be a package deal, so Victoria will agree to consider it.

Of course, Victoria won’t have high hopes about Adam agreeing to run it once it’s under the Newman-Locke umbrella.

Victoria will wonder if Adam not coming on board would be a deal-breaker for Victor, but Victor will point out there’s no deal yet.

That said, Victor will think Adam could use a good dose of humility.

Victor will urge Victoria to come up with a figure that’ll be pleasing to him. After Victor smiles at Victoria’s portrait, he’ll warn her not to lowball him on the offer.

At Society, Michael will meet Ashland, who’ll be there to pick up some takeout.

After Michael pushes to chat for a bit, they’ll discuss him coming on board as Victor’s legal counsel.

Ashland will make it clear that he knows all about Michael’s checkered path and reputation.

Ashland will think they’re a lot alike since they both dabble in the gray if need be and live for a good fight.

When Adam interrupts, he’ll be surprised over the news that Victor hired Michael – though he’ll cover and act like he already knew.

Later, Adam will head over to the ranch, where he’ll confront Victor about leaving him out of the loop on Michael’s hiring.

Victor will then come clean about Victoria wanting to buy Newman Media and enrage Adam by admitting he’s seriously entertaining the offer.

When Ashland reconvenes with Victoria, he’ll tell her about Michael working for Victor now.

Victoria will be surprised that Adam didn’t throw that in her face earlier. Victoria will assume Victor didn’t tell Adam about that since he didn’t tell Adam about her offer either.

Victoria will give Ashland updates on Victor’s visit and how he’s now potentially willing to sell Newman Media to her.

Ashland will be suspicious over the change of heart, so Victoria will agree that her father is definitely up to something.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will tell Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that she might be leaving Genoa City for good. She’ll be tempted to just leave everything behind and accept a marketing offer at Marchetti.

Phyllis will love the idea of working with Summer Newman-Abbott (Hunter King), but Amanda will think this is more about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) going radio silent on Phyllis.

They’ll bicker since Amanda will be against Phyllis making such a major life change.

Amanda will text Michael for backup, so he’ll arrive and find out about Phyllis wanting to leave GC permanently.

Michael will flip out on Phyllis for even considering the idea since this town molded her – and she molded it, too.

Michael will argue that if he has to stick around, then Phyllis has to do the same.

Michael will act like working with Summer would only end in disaster and will need to know Phyllis has come to her senses on this.

In the end, Amanda and Michael will only support a trip to Milan of reasonable length.

Michael will hope that’ll remind Phyllis and Summer that they irritate each other when they’re in close proximity.

Amanda will think the only question is whether Phyllis will go while Jack is still in Milan or if she’ll wait until he comes home.

Phyllis will shrug that she’ll go when she goes and will act like Jack isn’t a factor here.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis’ future will come with more curveballs, so stay tuned.
