Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts Brady) recently posted a behind-the-scenes pic that once again got everyone talking about her character. There have been some concerns about Koslow exiting as Kate, but it’s only a temporary departure.
Back in late September and October, Lauren Koslow stepped away from DOOL for a bit to attend her daughter’s wedding in Sicily and spend some time with her family.
Since Days films several months in advance, it looks like we’re now seeing the result of that time off on the show.
DOOL fans know Kate recently faced brainwashed Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) gun, but she pushed him not to shoot since he didn’t really want her dead.
Bo was only ready to pull the trigger because of Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) and her twisted orders.
Kate reminded Bo that he was a rebel at heart and previously wasn’t the kind of man who’d just blindly follow instructions.
Although an offscreen gunshot rang out, Bo likely just fired the gun in the air and let Kate live.
Kate obviously isn’t dead like Megan believes, but Days writers haven’t resolved the mystery of where Kate is now.
That explanation will come later, but Lauren Koslow returned to film more scenes following her break.
Some viewers were still concerned about a down-the-road exit, but Koslow offered proof that she was back on set in one of her latest Instagram photos.
“Happy Friday and into the weeeeeeeekend,” Koslow said in her caption on March 24.
The Days star could be seen standing in her usual dressing room, so that’s fantastic news if you were worried about Kate’s future at the show.
Kate still has some great material coming up and could potentially be part of Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) upcoming drama since Vivian’s headed back to Salem, too.
It’ll be interesting to see where Kate’s storyline goes and what other threats she faces.
