Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, January 4, tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will receive divorce papers, so he’ll reflect on the end of his marriage to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). After Nicole sends this sad delivery, Rafe will think about the good times as well as the bad.
Of course, Rafe knows it was a mistake to tie the knot with Nicole, but he truly cared about her and wanted a future together early on.
There’ll be a lot of tough emotions to deal with, so Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will get updates on Rafe’s divorce papers and offer some comfort.
Next on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Days spoilers say Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will fight with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), who’ll apparently think she needs to draw a line in the sand and convince Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to back off.
However, Stephanie will refuse to let Alex treat her like property and will warn that she’ll be friends with anyone she likes.
This romance isn’t going to work if Alex doesn’t trust Stephanie and ease up on the jealous macho attitude.
Over with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) on Wednesday’s Days episode, he’ll listen to Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) tirade.
Xander will no doubt fear his arrest is imminent since Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) has been spreading the news of his kidnapper shocker.
As for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll face a dilemma once someone pushes her to betray Xander.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) may argue that if the cops come after Gwen, she needs to put all the blame on Xander.
Days spoilers say Leo will worry about getting tangled up in a potential legal mess, too.
Since Gwen has been brimming with optimism lately, she may reassure Leo that it’ll all work out in the end.
Gwen won’t want to turn on Xander when he needs her most, so she may stand by him no matter how bad the looming crisis gets!
