General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) worst fear could come dangerously close to becoming reality. GH fans know the worst outcome possible here would be for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to kill Dex for his betrayal, so that concern is weighing on him.
Josslyn is also scared for Dex since the stakes are so high.
Although Josslyn supports the idea of Dex staying the course and fighting to put Sonny behind bars, she knows there are a thousand ways this could go wrong.
That’s especially true since Sonny is facing a mob threat that’s adding to the danger.
Dex knew what he was getting himself into when he signed up for this job, but he didn’t count on falling for Josslyn or how complicated all this would become.
Unfortunately, things could get even more complicated once Sonny realizes Dex sought a position in his organization with ulterior motives.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hand-picked Dex based on his military background and even the personal details in his backstory.
This has always been about putting the right guy in Sonny’s orbit – someone Sonny could start to trust and mentor.
Michael preyed on Sonny’s weak spots using Dex, who could end up paying the price unless he can give Sonny a good reason not to kill him.
However, it could eventually be Josslyn who gives Sonny a good reason instead.
Josslyn’s feelings for Dex may not be enough to save him, but what if she ultimately blurts out that she’s pregnant?
Maybe it’ll be Josslyn’s turn to exploit Sonny’s weaknesses since she knows how important fatherhood is to him.
Perhaps Josslyn will act like Sonny would be killing her “baby daddy” and destroying a family before it ever truly had a chance to start.
Would that convince Sonny to spare Dex’s life, even if he punishes him in other ways?
Josslyn might reveal a pregnancy shocker if the show uses that angle to save Dex from a grim fate.
It’s also possible Josslyn will lie about having a bun in the oven just to keep Sonny from pulling the trigger!
That could buy Josslyn some time as she works to figure out a more permanent solution.
One thing’s for sure: danger is headed Dex’s way, so Josslyn will do whatever she can to keep him alive.
