The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, September 22 – Li Wonders What Else Jack Hid – Deacon Meets With Judge Scott

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Friday, September 22, teases that John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) tells his mom, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) that he won’t let Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) cause any more damage to their family. He grabs her hands and affectionately tells her she is a great mom and loves her.

Finn acknowledges that he’s sure it stung learning he called Sheila, mom. But there’s no mistake in who is his real mother – and that’s Li. The doctor reassures his mom that he will never see Sheila again. He will ensure that his birth mom understands she has no place in his life.

Li wonders what else Jack Finnegan (Ted King) could have hidden from her. She adopted Finn knowing it was part of a “sleazy affair,” but now wonders if there was more to Ted and Sheila’s fling.

Finn says he will do whatever is necessary to protect Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the kids from Sheila’s grasp. Li asks if Finn had second thoughts about saving Sheila’s life when she coded in the ER.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Finn reminds his mother he’s a doctor and has no choice but to save her life.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Dominic) apartment, Sheila agrees to end their relationship to protect his relationship with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). She wants the same type of relationship with Finn.

Deacon and Sheila don’t want to break up, but they see no other way. She refuses to live in the shadow of “Forrester paranoia” anymore. Deacon says he doesn’t underestimate Sheila but thinks repairing her relationship with Finn will be near-impossible.

Sheila grabs her bag and hat and says goodbye to her knight in shiny armor. Tearing up, Deacon thinks he will miss her. He’s rooting for her to achieve all her dreams. They kiss and say goodbye.

At Il Guardino, Deacon chats with Judge Scott (Michael Corbett) about their past. They laugh about the good times they’ve shared. Sheila sits at a table nearby and eavesdrops on the conversation.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Deacon tells the judge he has a complicated history with Sheila. After looking at her rap sheet, Judge Scott says he realizes why he reached out to him and filed motions to ensure Sheila’s freedom.

Hope giggles uncomfortably at Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) apartment as Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) presents them with a candlelit dinner. He wanted to show his parents he loves them and help them realize they love each other, too.

Hope thinks the dinner is sweet. After they eat the pizza, they tell Douglas what a good cook he is. Douglas feels his work is done and leaves to allow his parents to spend time together. He announces there are cookies and milk in the kitchen for dessert.

Before leaving, Douglas tells his parents it would be a dream come true if they all lived in the same house together. They hug their son and gaze into each other’s eyes.

After Douglas leaves, Thomas tells Hope that their son is right. He loves her but understands that she’s not there yet. It’s enough for him to spend time with her. He’s finally mature and promises he didn’t put Douglas up to any of this.

Thomas tells Hope that he only wants to be with her. He was the wrong guy in the past, but now, he’s in the right place and ready to love her and her only. Thomas adds that they could have everything Douglas wants: a family together.

The designer says that she may not love him now, but when things change for her, he will be there –he’s always loved her.

Hope admits it feels good to be with a man who only loves her. She asks Thomas to repeat that she’s the only one he loves again. He does, and they make out.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Hope inches closer to committing to a relationship with Thomas.
