Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates for Monday, September 25 tease paternity shocks, friction, and mama bear attacks! Maggie and Justin Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers, Wally Kurth) are shocked, there’s friction between Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Kate Brady (Lauren Koslow) the mama bear attacks!
Maggie and Justin opened the retrieved briefcase that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) brought Justin at Brady’s Pub, opening it at Julie and Doug Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes, Bill Hayes) house.
When they go through the amended will, they will still be shocked at what they see. There is some question on Brady’s and Justin’s part why Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) left the briefcase with Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) who gave it to Brady.
There will be more shocks in regards to Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) will. There may even be questions as to if it’s legit!
Elsewhere, friction continues between Xander and Sarah, some over baby Victoria Margaret Horton (uncast) and some over Sarah’s impending wedding to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).
They’ll have to find someone else to officiate since Maggie didn’t feel it was right to officiate a sham marriage to keep Xander from finding out he’s a dad.
However, it looks like they’ll find someone else to marry them and they’ll go through with it. Whether Maggie even attends it as mother of the bride is a question at this point!
Meantime, Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) pressuring Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) to be her right hand man at Titan has gotten back to Kate.
Kate goes all mama bear and lays into Vivian, knowing Philip’s still fragile and even he turned Vivian down – suggesting she take his place in the psychiatric hospital!
For one thing, how dare Vivian continue to claim Philip’s her son – surely Philip told his mother that as well.
Vivian even tempted him with a payment of Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) returned to him if he’d work for her. Who does Vivian think she is, she can’t promise that!
Apparently giving up on Philip, now Vivian’s pressuring Alex – Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) quit, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) refused, and Philip told her to go to the nether regions where she belongs!
Vivian can’t seem to get anyone to work for her at Titan, and Maggie fired him so she likely figures he’s a shoe-in to accept. Even Alex will likely balk at becoming part of a glorified drug smuggling operation when he sees the changes she’s made! But, once Victor’s will is read, Alex may not need a job!
Chloe, walking out of a bridal shop after picking out her own wedding dress, overhears Rex and Philip having a conversation in Horton Town Square. Philip had seen Rex rushing through the square and he asked him what his hurry was – he told her about him and Sarah getting married. He hadn’t told their mother Kate yet because he felt guilty about lying.
Chloe walked up just as Rex told Philip that Xander was the baby’s father. Monday, the drama from this cliffhanger continues!
