The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, August 14, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will face a difficult setback in his fight to reconcile with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Finn made a heartfelt plea and tried to convince Steffy that he understood the risks when it came to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Although Finn apologized for making Steffy feel unsafe and promised nothing dangerous would ever happen again, Steffy can’t trust her own husband now.
Finn will return to the cliff house alone, so it seems Steffy will reject his idea about moving back there with the kids just yet.
Until Steffy can learn to have faith in Finn again, she’ll think she needs to protect Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks) and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) at the Forrester mansion.
Of course, Finn will be distraught, but he’ll remain determined to fix his marriage somehow.
After RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) arrives looking for updates, Finn will end up putting him to work on a new plan.
Other B&B spoilers say Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will reflect on all Sheila news and make a tough decision.
When it comes to Steffy’s love life, who would Ridge rather see his daughter wind up with?
The forever waffler who’ll probably just break her heart or the pushover with a lunatic mom who’s putting lives in jeopardy?
Ridge really needs to support an independent Steffy right now, but it looks like he’ll get behind one particular man for Steffy anyway.
In light of all the new Sheila developments, Ridge may think Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is a better match for Steffy than Finn.
That may be mostly due to the safety issue that Steffy and her kids are now facing.
There was a time when Ridge approved of Finn as someone who was more loyal than Liam, but he may change his vote now that Finn’s fumbled so terribly.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will have a hard time undoing all the damage he’s done, so stay tuned to see if he can pull it off eventually.
